The monkeys were so sweet and hungry lol. They only jump on you to get to the food and eat it on you as well. The view is incredible !!

My wife and I were looking for a little more laid back excursion from our resort that would give us a feel for local history and culture. We were not disappointed. Raphael was our driver and handled the bus with excellent skill and ensured we were picked up safely and transported dexterously throughout. The admission fee if booked directly is much more reasonable than if through the resort . That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Emelio was a fantastic guide sharing the rich history of the Dominican Republic. He was a wealth of information, gave great advice and shared so much from his own experiences. We spent about a half a day here learning about the local agriculture and we were honored to spend a bit supporting local farmers as they offered their locally produced Mama Juana, honey, coffee, cacao, coconut oil and more. The monkeys were adorable and a lot of fun as we fed them. I would recommend families with children younger than four consider carefully before coming. The monkeys are very curious and the swarming can be a little intimidating for young children. If thinking about it-go and enjoy.

Our experience was great the guide was super fun and we enjoyed ourselves.

Angelica is the best and beautiful bella seniorita

Melvin was genuinely amazing from start to finish — he truly wanted us to have the best experience and he delivered big time. Got us first at every spot so we beat the crowds and got the best views. Took loads of brilliant photos for us too, never once expecting anything in return — such a kind guy.The knowledge he’s got is unreal — explained the mangroves, the turtle sanctuary, and all the history in such an interesting, funny way that you actually listened and learned. And his crew? Just as brilliant — so helpful, funny, and kind the whole day, made it feel like we were with mates.Everything was perfect — I’d recommend Melvin and his team to absolutely anyone. Don’t think twice, book them!

This was so well organised, we loved that it was a relaxed small group, early start but so worth it, we were the first on the beach and had so much free time to enjoy as we pleased. Our tour guild Melvin was amazing, he shared his knowledge about the islands and the history was great, also spoke brilliant English, we had a free gift and free photo's. The food was delicious and constant drinks being provided. This is a must do excursion.
