Marseille Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We booked this tour direct online with Fada the night before we went. It was a very straightforward process and the package was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming, they provided clear information on how to use e-bikes and what to expect on this 3 hour tour. Our group of 7 were mixed Aussie and Scots and Jules our guide was first class. Helpful, friendly and knowledgable he delivered information in a very informal, relaxed way.....no lectures! The tour progressed at a good appropriate speed for our riding abilities.

Diana was an excellent guide and was flexible with the groups interests. It was a very informative tour of Marseilles and I would highly recommend.

Best way to see the major sites in Marseille as it is easy to cover a lot of ground and steep hills. I would highly recommend this tour as our guide was wonderful.

This private tour by Anthony was one of the highlights of our Western Medierranean cruise! He picked us up promptly in front of our ship, and we toured a few of the main sites in Marseille, including the old port and the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde. Then we traveled through the beautiful Parc National des Calanques to Cape Canaille, the highest cliff in Europe, where we had incredible views of nearby rock climbers, Cassis Bay, and the Mediterranean Sea. After traveling down to the fishing town of Cassis, we took an hour boat tour to view the cliffs, beaches, and tourquoise water. Anthony suggested a wonderful restaurant alongside the harbor where we had a local seafood lunch, followed by plenty of time to explore the town, shop, and stop for gelato before meeting Anthony for a quick ride back to the ship. The private tour was absolutey perfect! Anthony was friendly, professional, and prompt...AND he made sure we were back to the ship on time! Don't hesitate to book this experience...You'll enjoy every minute!

A must see places with lots of culture, architecture and stunning mountain and sea views, beautiful towns and cities to explore within. Omar was a very professional curtious and friendly driver he took us to all the nice places and waited patiently giving us as much time as we needed to explore.

This was our favorite excursion on our Mediterranean cruise. We were met and dropped off at our ship, and we were very comfortable for the tour. Anthony provided a great experience, we felt like we were visiting a friend, who was showing us the best of what the area had to offer. I cannot recommend this tour enough!!

Great overview of Marseille when you don’t have a lot of time. You go to the key locations and get the history at the same time. It’s easy, convenient and Georgi was knowledgeable and personable. It was a great use of my limited time in Marseille.

Anthony is a wonderful person and very well organized. We visited the magnificent villages of Lourmarin, Roussillon, Gordes... We had enough time in each village and returned to the cruise port on schedule. A big thank you to Anthony for his kindness and professionalism.

A memorable day with the family. The Roman monuments in Arles are simply incredible... Anthony, our guide, a local native, showed us the best spots. He is very well-organized and very courteous. We loved the medieval village of Les Baux-de-Provence. It was the best day of sightseeing during our Mediterranean cruise.

Alex was an amazing tour guide . He custom tailored the tour to our needs. We enjoyed the day with a combination or beach, boat and leisure. We would definitely recommend.

The Atelier is on the second floor of the building (it doesn't say that on the description).The Artist who does the workshop is very kind and patient. (She speaks some German, for our fellow germans).We were done quicker than the estimated time, so she gave us additional options (decorating, making another book). We felt very welcomed and recommend this Workshop. Lovely experience.
