I have had the privilege of flying twice with Black Hills Balloons. Each time the experience was tremendous. I will definitely fly again.

Just sn awesome day! Nicole (and Nancy who was in training). Nicole knew all the sights to show us that I'm sure other your companies do not. Loved the badlands and iron mountain road and all the bison, prairie dogs, etc that Nicole showed us! Nicole with all her knowledge made our day!!

What an amazing experience! I booked the balloon ride as a surprise for my husband for our 50th Anniversary and it worked out to do the ride on his birthday! I have to admit I hate flying, but after visiting with Damien when I booked the flight, he definitely put me at ease! I was worried about getting in and out of the balloon, but the crew was very kind and helpful! Pat was our pilot and was very knowledgeable, fun and loved listening to him! Smooth takeoff and landing, and it was so peaceful! Ended with a mimosas toast and snacks! We highly recommend the ride - memories to cherish forever!!

Our tour guide, Nicole, did an amazing job of narrating our tour and providing an incredible wealth of background information regarding South Dakota, the National Parks, the State Parks, and attractions in the area. Not to mention her wealth of knowledge on the local wildlife indigenous to the area. We learned a lot of information we wouldn't have otherwise picked up, and having someone else do the driving was great for me, as I usually am behind the wheel. Having the freedom to look around and take in the natural beauty of the area without keeping my eyes on the road was a big plus for me. On top of that, some roads were very busy with bikers as we did our tour at the beginning of Sturgis Bike Week. Nicole handled the additional traffic on the roads like a pro!

Paula was our tour guide. She was lots of fun and very knowledgeable of the area and the sights. She stopped often to let us get out and get pictures. We were able to check all the sights we wanted to see off our list plus some we didn't expect. I spoke with Rich and booked the tour in advance. He was very helpful in planning our trip. I would highly recommend Paula and this tour company. The price was very reasonable and we saw more than expected. We were a family of 7 so we filled the back of the Jeep. We enjoy taking guided tours so the family driver gets to enjoy the trip instead of watching the road.

This was very easy to use and quite informative. The turn by turn directions were spot on. We always use Cool Destinations and am looking forward to our next two tours with them in Yellowstone and Monument Valley.

Well I was too late to go tour the actual cave, but I really enjoyed this audio tour about the prairie ecosystem above the caves. I saw bison and prairie dogs. Hiked the Prairie Vista and Rankin Ridge Trails. All while hearing about the history of the park.

My husband and I enjoyed a full-day Jeep Bison Safari that included a picnic lunch with our guide Paula. Paula made conversation so easy! The tour company did a great job communicating with us prior to our tour, which eased all my stress. During the tour Paula was so invested in giving us the best experience possible, it was evident Paula takes pride in the job she does! I absolutely recommend this tour if you want to see bison and unforgettable sights. Thank you Paula for an absolutely incredible experience! You made our trip extraordinary!
