THIS IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT!! Kostas was the best!! This was the best food tour we’ve ever done. The Cretan food is AMAZING and Kostas is so knowledgeable about all things Crete and food. He has great energy! He knew all of the secret spots; we were stuffed by the end of it. We felt like we were being shown around the city by an old friend. It feels great to support an amazing company connecting tourists with authentic, local businesses and cuisine. It was really an incredible experience and I’m so glad we did it. We can’t wait to come back to Crete and take this tour again! Thank you, Kostas!

We have never experienced such a wonderful, informative, and truly private food and walking tour on any of our previous trips or in any other country.Sophia was incredibly friendly and explained all the dishes to us while showing us some fantastic places that we could return to and explore at our own pace over the following days. She even took some extra time to show us a special shoe store that perfectly matched what we were looking for.On top of that, she gave us lots of valuable tips and recommendations for the days ahead.Simply a wonderful and delicious experience. Overall, everything was good. I went fishing with my wife, and there was also another family on the boat with their two adult children. It was a beautiful and interesting experience, and a good opportunity to try sea fishing from a boat using fishing rods. If you have the possibility to bring your own spinning rod, I would recommend discussing it with the captain. I think it could be a nice bonus to try spinning fishing at sea and use your own skills. It may also be worth experimenting with different lures, as only one type of bait is provided. The fishing itself is quite straightforward: the boat moves to a spot where fish may be present, and you use a rig with a sinker and three hooks. You lower it to the bottom and wait for a bite. When you feel a strike through the rod, you reel the line in. A nice experience overall, especially if you want to try fishing from a boat in the sea.

I absolutely loved this tour with Cretan Tasty Trails! I honestly wasn’t expecting quite so much food and drink, so it was a wonderful surprise we tasted so many lovely Cretan treats and local specialities along the way. Elena was such a lovely guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, but also warm, friendly and just a pleasure to spend the afternoon with. What I particularly loved was that this was my third time in Chania, yet Elena showed me a completely different side of the city and I learned so much. It was one of the highlights of my trip. I genuinely cannot recommend this tour highly enough. If you’re thinking about booking it, just do it, you really won’t regret it! ❤️🇬🇷

The beach was crowded but wonderful. Safe for even those who do not swim. Be aware that some beachgoers are topless.

We booked this food tour on our first full day in Chania to get our "food bearings" and Meleni our guide did a great job in leading us to wonderful bites and tastes, and giving us a fulsome picture of the food culture of Crete. We ended up with a delicious lunch and lots of recommendations to further explore the delicious food of this historic island.

Quite a long walk down to beach and back up. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues although we did make use of a disability van that was passing! Very reasonable snack bar on the beach. Take euros for sun bed hire and loos. Honey farm and Elos village were good stops. Ingrid was a very informative guide and Stavros an expert driver navigating hairpin bends!

Highly recomend! This was such a nice expierience. The instructor was super nice and gave different options depending on if you wanted more challenging moves. Got some nice pictures at the end and left the class smiling😊

Well organized and with very friendly staff. We really appreciated the boat trip, which included both snorkeling and diving. The dive leaders and instructors were fantastic—professional, attentive, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable. The driver was excellent and took us safely there and back. Drinks and snacks were available on board and were appreciated by everyone. The dive sites were beautiful. Top rating in every way.

We had a wonderful time on this tour! It was not just a food tour; we learned some Greek history and was able to walk around and explore Chania’s Old Town. Sophia was such a personable and friendly guide. She made sure we enjoyed many wonderful food items for breakfast and lunch. It was a great start to our stay on the island of Crete!

The team is incredibly helpful and takes the time to explain everything clearly, so you start the activity with a safe and familiar feeling. You really notice that they know what they are doing and that your safety is paramount. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a fun and special experience. You got a chance?
