an extremely pleasant and rewarding experience. Mauro (I think that was his name) was patient, explained the whole process, showed us the different stages and answered all our questions. He was polite, professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was also very passionate about glove-making and his love for the business shone through.

Truly a most wonderful experience!! To actually meet and work with a true artist in his studio to create our own artwork under his guidance…fabulous. All this was curated by a truly delightful guide, whose knowledge and presentation set the stage for a singular event. The artist names one of his mediums “the skin of Naples” and I’d like him to know we’re taking a small bit of the skin of Rome home to continue our collage experience. Our guide added in the history of the devotion to the holy souls in purgatory, a visit to a church which was the center of the devotion and a viewing of a Banksy street art. Coffee, conversation, art and history? What could be better? Being made to feel like family? Priceless!

We learned all about the history of glove making in Napoli and the importance to the region. This art has been passed through 5 generations and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing the process. We now have such an appreciation for the craftsmanship of glove making!

Alberto was a gracious host. We had a wonderful experience hearing about his family business. We had no idea that making gloves was so complex, and to see them being handmade in front of our eyes was quite humbling. This was such a unique privilege given that Naples is the home of glove manufacturing.

Me and my boyfriend came on a rainy day so we did the activity in her apartment and it was very welcoming and very cozy and the wine was good, the painting was very fun you can see she is an expert and she really helped us because we didn't really knew what we were doing and we came out with a really good painting results. we had a very good time!
