Naples Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Air Canada Vacations booked this tour for us and made us arrive at 7:10AM, one hour earlier than our actual meet time! But our tour guide arrived not long after us and introduced himself as Gabriel Casavega. He had no idea why ACV told us to arrive so early, but he was nevertheless glad that everyone was there on time. In any case, Gabriel was a real character and definitely not your typical tour guide. He made sure we knew he was a "celebrity" of sorts with CONNECTIONS! But he also made sure he got to know all the 17 people in his group by name because it's all about CONNECTIONS. Not only was he very extroverted and personable, he was also very efficient at communicating. He told us how to board the ferry to Capri so we would be first to board and first to disembark. Once at Anacapri, he was able to help us jump the long queue for the Monte Solaro chair lift. I admit I was slightly uncomfortable with this, but what the hell, I was on holiday and I had a hoot. At the end of the day, Gabriel made our trip to Capri a memorable one.

This was great! The three stops were fairly far from our cruise port, so it was nice to have a driver. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, the stops were beautiful, and the boat option is absolutely worth it. We had a whole new perspective of the Amalfi coast from the boat.

The tour organization by Gabriel Casavega was an incredible experience, as he encouraged the group to stick to the meeting times with humor and wit so that we were always the first at the respective sightseeing highlights. His humor and temperament also brought a lot of fun to the group, and the information was comprehensive and not neglected. His insider tips on Capri were also very helpful. Martina (guide) and Giuseppe (driver) were wonderful guides! From the very beginning they were warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Martina told us so many cool facts about the history of Sorrento, Positano and Almalfi, and she did so in a funny and charismatic way. So much so that I still remember many of these facts simply because she is great at story telling! Giuseppe was an efficient and safe driver, who brought good energy to the trip and kept us safe despite ongoing fires along almafi coast and our drive. The fires unfortunately prevented us from seeing Amalfi and having our bought tour, but instead we spent extra time in Sorrento and Positano, and the company kindly promised to refund the part of our fee which was paid for the boat tour. The day was honestly still so lovely regardless of the change! I would definitely recommend this tour to ither travelers, and I think my husband and I will likely do it again next time we are in Italy. Ciao!

Tour was perfectly organized, Giuseppe and Martina were so fun and kind. He stopped in positano for us to take pictures at one of the high viewpoints. They played great music and we played a game and I won a free limoncello from Martinia (such a sweetheart, even offered to take my pictures since I was solo). Definitely recommend, great West to see the cities to get a sample of whichever you like the most you can come back by ferry.

The tour was very good. Highly recommended. It was a lot to see in one day. There towns were very busy. The boat ride was beautiful.

The trip was very well organised and informative. Sarah, our guide was the best we have ever had. Clear precise and knowledgeable. Could be a little clearer with meeting point as difficult to find.

Dario is a guy with gentle manners and eyes, polite, smiling, excellent experience!!! Stay away from the shady individuals who operate in the same area; Dario's boat and t-shirt feature "Naplseatour"

Really informative and fun. Guided from start to finish and got a real sense of the area with the guide bringing it to life.

Geppi our guide was excellent, a tremendous host! He taught us a little about the history of Naples and most importantly, its typical foods. We started with the margherita pizza, continued with a Tarallo Salato and then went to Sfogliate, where we tried the crispy Sfogliatelli with ricotta. 100% recommended service! Geppi was very attentive to everything we needed and kept us hydrated on a 35-degree day. We would highly recommend the experience!

Great couple hours spent wandering around Naples. Lorenz was a great guide and had some interesting facts to share with us. I enjoyed all the food. I would recommend this tour.
