Top Madrid Opera

We had no idea what to expect when we booked this, but it was great fun. The staff actually sings a little opera and then some popular songs. The food was delicious. We would definitely do it again.

2 time visiting and still the best experience in Madrid. Every time the experience is better. My family loves it.

Even if you are not a fan of opera, this will be an absolutely, absolutely fantastic experience. Words alone cannot describe this experience. If you are considering this experience, don't hesitate. It is a rare opportunity, particularly at this price and with this remarkable quality of cuisine and wine. These are professional opera singers who perform on these occasions to rehearse and to keep their skills razor sharp.After 10 days in Spain, this was hands-down my best experience.

We love this place. We visited it 2 years ago during previous Madrid trip and now again. The good food, drinks, great entertainment and wonderful staff. They the warmest and friendliest people.Live sarzuela, (spanish opera) and will get the whole room engaged.Highly recommend this place.

Great fun experience. Beautiful arias and very well sung accompanied by a pianist. With a good voice, you don't need more. The food was fine. The people were very friendly. Recommended!!

It is an excellent show and a magnificent dinner. It is not 100% zarzuela, but the singers are very good and do a beautiful job, with an excellent host and baritone....

La Castafiore was a true highlight during 3 weeks in Spain! What a wonderful evening we had here with the best staff anywhere! The staff, food, and performances were outstanding. It was obvious from the crowd that this place is beloved by locals and quickly learned why. The staff isnt singing opera, they ARE opera singers- a big difference. The four course meal was wonderfully prepared and delicious. The coordination to serve, perform, and do other duties is amazing! This place is an absolute treasure!Speaking some Spanish is definitely a help here- i did my best Spanish, the waiter did his best English, and he snd the other staff and guests felt more like friends by the end of the evening.

We really enjoyed this show. It was a lot of fun and the performances and staff were great! My only suggestion would be to show up on the hungry side as it is a lot of food.

A special night for the quality of service, food, music and the atmosphere of the place. We were very kindly received and were pleasantly impressed with the environment. Soon they presented us with the menu and started serving our dinner that was delicious. Accompanied by a bottle of wine, the meal passed without any downtime much the opposite only attention and an atmosphere where joy and friendly atmosphere prevailed. Suddenly the waiter who served us the bread began to sing and we realized that the evening was going to be a total success. Surprised by the beautiful voices of the singers, the team was building a growing atmosphere of joy culminating with everyone standing dancing and making a toast with champagne for the anniversaries present. We ended the night with a taste of wanting more!!!!!!

Outstanding performances!! Food was great too. It felt like you had a private concert from amazing opera professionals. Could charge more for this experience. Fantastic!!

What fun! While in Madrid, we were looking for something fun to do one evening. Found this event; met people that have been consistent patrons for approximately 15 years. Other than one table of Americans, we seemed to be the only out-of-towners. While the staff doesn't speak English, they were warm and welcoming, and what a surprise to encounter the talented voices that sang for us, particularly the young soprano (you will go far, my dear) and the older tenor! At the end of the evening, we were all on our feet dancing together. Highly recommend for a fun and entertaining surprise evening out!

Was really more than we expected. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fun night out with a group. The cast was so warm and you could absolutely pick up on the fun they were having. Very engaging with the crowd. Food was a bonus as I figured it would be a bust at this type of event , but it was not. Do it!

Do not hesitate to book here, delicious and spectacular dinner opera and zarzuela with great voices and repertoire. Many Spanish attendees, it is not tourist trap.

It's a good experience. The place is far away, we had to take a taxi. Good dinner. The very good show. They are not really garzones, they are lyrical that pass to one a couple of cups and they serve foaming to look like garzones since they dress as such, but they are very good professionals. Worth knowing the place
