This was a wonderfully organised workshop.There were six of us in the class, and our instructor Julia was incredibly friendly, fun, and clearly an expert at their craft. We learned to make croissant, pain au chocolat, and pain suisses, which was a brilliant experience. I know some past reviewers didn't like being paired up, but I actually preferred it; rolling out croissant dough is hard work, so having a partner to share the physical effort made it much better.I learned a lot, brought home a box of fantastic pastries, and feel completely encouraged to try baking them at home.

Our class with Paolo was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. We learned a lot about cheese, cooking techniques, and French food regulations and protections. Paolo made every element of our experience interesting and useful. The market tour was especially enjoyable. Would definitely do this again.

Hands down our best experience in Paris
It is a pretty full day. You walk to the market and back and then you will stand most of the time preparing foods to cook and then cooking them. On the market trip you learn a lot of where things are sourced from and what that means. A stop at the fish monger and cheese shop for some history as well! There is something for everyone whether you are an experienced cook or have never set foot in the kitchen! I would be willing to bet everyone will walk away with a new skill or approach and for sure you will have a lot of fun. I know I personally did and I like to consider myself a good cook and someone that knows their way around the kitchen:) Everyone is a bit shy at first but by the time you sit down for your well deserved meal you have prepared and all worked on together —you are family! I would do this a hundred times over! Chef Fred was personable, knowledgeable and talented! You won’t regret this addition to your time in Paris!

My wife and I did this tour today and had a wonderful time. Our guide was Julie and she was very relaxed and informative throughout the tour and continually engaged with the group to answer the many questions coming her way. The wine tasting was held in the most beautiful setting of the church and all of the wines were delicious in their own unique way. An absolute must if you're visiting Nice. Eugene 😊

we had an extraordinary experience with Paulo from start to finish. He was very relaxed as we went to the market and we spent an extraordinary amount of time with each experience whether it be purchasing the fruits, the cheeses or any other things that we needed to go with the dinner. The facility itself is perfect for large groups and very professional. The education our group of four couples received was excellent and comprehensive, and the facility was flawless. Paulo spoke perfect English and was an exceptional host. Our experience could not have been better!

A very informative but relaxed afternoon gaining some insights into the wines of (mainly) Burgundy, Beaujolais, the Rhône. Margaret Rose (le sommelier) is very knowledgable, practical and engaging in her approach. I learned some practical tips about tasting and wine pairing which I hope to use in the future.
