We booked directly on the website, the email confirmation and instructions for the meeting place and time were clear and conciseWe were greeted with a glass of fizz and were then called individually by name to be harnessed into our seat.We booked the afternoon session, the views were spectacular, we felt safe, secure and well looked after. Music, a good banter from the host, drinks and food prepared in front of us by a chef.Definitely location, location, location- not to be missed!

A review with a difference…as we didn’t actually go! This is a review of the people who run the trip. We were booked to go and were greatly looking forward to it but we both got food poisoning on the morning of the trip. We waited until a couple of hours before the start time but had to contact the team who ran the trip to cancel. She immediately asked if we wanted an alternative date but as it was our last day this wasn’t possible so she then offered a full refund, which Cool Destinations have honoured. In the circumstances, you really can’t ask for better service. Just wish we could have done the trip!

Oliver, our guide was great! Good communication, great transport to all locations throughout the trip. We met some lovely fellow travellers who felt like friends at the end of the trip. The Oyster Bay with Dinno was fabulous as were the salt flats at Ston.. very interesting. Super lunch of traditional Peka in farmhouse surroundings.. what’s not to like?

Such a once in a lifetime experience! We spent the afternoon cooking and learning about the ancient island ways of life. The hosts were all so warm and inviting teaching us so much about their ancestors and their current life practices. The food was also amazing made with such fresh ingredients. Highly highly recommend a visit to Terra Arhaica!!!
