My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at Veerna’s cooking class. We truly felt like part of the family. We learned so much about Crete and their recipes. We met amazing people who were also there traveling! We also did the transfer to and from the class which was great and worked out really well. We often say this was a highlight of our trip and we are sooooo glad we did it! We miss them and we will certainly be back one day! In the meantime, we hope that they will come to the states and do a cooking class in Astoria or Manhattan!!! We would make sure to tell all of our friends to go!

The Best Tour I Have Ever Taken
This tour was by far the best I have ever taken. Stavros is an exceptional guide who provided an amazing and varied experience for our small group. His energy and enthusiasm kept us entertained and laughing all day, while still imparting a trove of information about the history, mythology, and agriculture of the region. Stavros led us on experiences that only a local person knowledgeable and passionate about his region could provide. We saw the architecture/history/mythology that we all came to see, but also walked through tiny traditional villages, drank coffee in a picturesque hidden village square in the mountains, learned about native plants, ate fruit fresh picked directly from the source in a local farm, and ate a delicious lunch at a true "farm to table" family restaurant in the agricultural mountain plateau. We ended with a tour of an olive oil factory run by the same family for generations. I highly recommend this tour with Stavros; it was so much more than I was expecting.

Wonderful trip to the island. Marissa and Niko were amazing to watch set sails and sail the boat. Food was very good. Only slight negatives were too many boat's in the small bay and not many fish. Suggestion: put a different color small flag near the ladder to help swimmers without glasses identify which of the several boats anchored in the bay is the one they are on.

We had an amazing trip to Dia Island from the Venetian harbor in Heraklion! The boat was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Our captain Johnna was so sweet and handled the choppy water with ease. Her first mate, Daniel, kept the energy exciting and made us laugh. Lunch was very fresh with local favorites and there was plenty of options for drinks. They have any water toys you would want and don’t forget to go down the inflatable slide. I would definitely recommend Daneri for a day on the water in Heraklion! Life is amazing especially when you spend it with Johnna and Daniel! Thank you again for making our day so special!

Crysoula welcomes you into her beautiful home, and within moments, she makes you feel completely at home and like part of the family.What makes the experience so special is how involved she gets you. You don’t just watch—you cook, learn, laugh, and share a meal together. We learned traditional Cretan cooking, from stuffed peppers to incredible homemade desserts, and everything was absolutely delicious.One of the best parts is that the experience stays with you long after you leave. Months later, we were still making the moussaka we learned from Crysoula’s class at home!If you’re visiting Crete, this is an experience we would highly recommend. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and something we’ll remember for a long time.
