Very short time at the actual site, we wasted time at shp which boxed in the buying g as turns out e pensive products. Would preferred my time at site versus the store.

Excellent experience as a Christian to see the place where John had his vision. The hiking trail to it is also beautiful with beautiful views over the chora of Patmos

Our guide - Vera (I hope I did not misspell her name) made it ! Her presentations, in both the museum of the monastery and in the cave were a mix of a professor of history and religion, a philosopher and an actress! At least for me, she was the best guide I ever had (and I am a senior and professor at a university). Congratulations!

Despite all the fears that there might be organisational difficulties, everything went well. We took the ferry *Efesus Express". The journey to Kusadasi took two hours as indicated. Our tour was conducted by Okeanos travel and we loved it. Ihsan, who speaks fluent English, Turkish and Greek, did a very good job and was very nice to us. He introduced Kusadasi and Ephesus with a lot of knowledge, humor and enthusiasm. The entire tour was in English as stated. The ancient city of Ephesus was very impressive. You felt like you were diving into antiquity. Every item there has a little story to tell. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed it. My tip: Be sure to take enough water with you! And sturdy footwear must not be missing. The paths in Ephesus, which are partly made of marble, are very slippery. All in all, it was a very nice trip that was worth its time and money!

We went with the Captain Andreas boat from Pythagorio harbor to Kasonisi Island. The trip there took about an hour and we were treated with ouzo, orange juice, white wine and small sandwiches during the time on the boat. There was also possibility to buy beer and wine on the boat. First we stopped in the narrow strait between Kasonisi and Samos. The water was crystal blue and we could jump and dive into it from the boat. A lot of fun! 🤩 There was also the possibility to climb via ladder into the water. Then we went to the small beach and town of Poseidonio. Where we stopped for a couple of hours for sun bathing, swimming and lunch at the Taverna. Very beautiful small beach with crystal clear water, quite nice for snorkeling too. After that the boat went back towards Pythagorio, but this time more slowly and closer to the coast line. Very calming and lots of nice scenery and happy waving people along the way. Only drawback we can think was that the volume of the music on the boat was a bit high. Especially when sitting close to a loudspeaker.

Simply amazing experience being inside the cave where St John wrote the Book of Revelation, seeing the place where he lived till he died and the rock standing 'desk' where said the vision to his disciple (scribe). Make sure you carry cash because tickets to the cave nor the monastery are included in the tour tickets which is disappointing as we were led to believe when ordering the tour.

This is a really good Tour to give you an insight into the Island and its history. The guide was very knowledgeable. The talk although quite interesting, on the visit to the temple of Hera, could have either been a bit shorter, or commenced whilst walking. There was a lot of standing around. It was however a lot more enjoyable than we had expected. All the other stops were very good, with the exception of lunch at the sunset cafe in Potami. An awful experience. They are not interested in any medical food requirements you may have which is dangerous and unacceptable. Read reviews. Details were given to the Rheina rep on the day so hopefully this may prove better in future. A really good day out, but maybe have a good breakfast and take your own food.

Me and my girlfriend took this trip on our vacation at Samos. First of all, the itenary shown here on Cool Destinations is very incorrect, as the boat didnt stop at Samos city, and the "Lakka" pinpoint is located on the mainland (which I guess most people understand is wrong). Otherwise, I would recommend this to all people visiting Pythagorio city! The personell on the boat and the other guests were very pleasant to us. Throughout the trip, we were served fruit and other snacks repeatedly :). About 60-70 other guests participated. The barbecue was also delicious, and we had opportunity to choose between fish, meat or vegetarian food. It would have been slightly better if the sitting areas on the boat had back Support. I think this because there was a lot of waiting while traveling between the locations, where most people would sit. And it could have been better if the cups were made of cardboard instead, avoiding eventual pollution of the ocean. Overall, it was a very good trip, and I am glad we chose to travel here :) i give it 4/5 stars.

Enjoyable day. Swim in the sea at a little bay then onwards to a small island. Swim and relax whilst waiting for Bbq to be cooked and served. Beach shoes a must as pebbly and rocky until you get further into the sea. Also the route from the boat to bbq beach is pretty precarious and make shift and you need to return to boat to use the toilet.! Extra drinks you need to pay for.
