Sit back, enjoy guitar and singing as he gives a guided tour. Check if your ticket includes a tour of the Sun Studio..we got off the bus not realising until they rang to check our whereabouts, but we'd ordered food by then.

This tour gave a great intro to Memphis's history along with the ghost stories. Our time with Daniel was packed with recommendations for hidden gems to visit during our stay in the city. He clued us in to restaurants and other attractions... several of which we visited and he didn't steer us wrong! I also liked that Daniel talked about the historical research behind the stories he was telling and differentiated the evidence from the theories. It was fascinating to learn what has been actually documented versus what might just be a tall tale. The 90-minute tour length was just perfect (not too long of a commitment but enough time to really get some good detail). The walking was not too strenuous and it seemed like the stories could easily be adapted to make them a little less graphic if there were kids on the tour. Excellent value (low price compared to other tours of this kind) and the check-in desk was very easy to find. I believe this is always a small group tour but we ended up having a private tour all to ourselves. Highly recommend this tour as a way to get historical context of the city sights (and some goosebumps as well).

The tour guide for the first part of the tour was so knowledgeable about the town, it's history and the gossip and stories from the early years. The transportation was immaclate. The Blues & soul museum was one of those places that you could spend the whole day. Very informative and thorough. The music selections were.perfect for the subject. The tour was self guided with very nice and easy equipment. The riverboat was a nice ride, but it was hard to hear the guide. But the trip was worth it.

This is a great tour! Nice mix of history of Memphis, history of music, and views of the city. Our guide, John was fabulous, so knowledgeable and entertaining! We had a great time!

Had we not done this tour, I think we would have been disappointed in our trip to Memphis. This tour made it much more memorable.

Make sure you read the email and follow directions. Make sure to call Cool Destinations and verify your pick up time for the tour. Our driver Michelle was very informative and funny. She also is very nice and very passionate with her stories and the history. You feel that you were back in the moment. We stayed at The Guesthouse at Graceland.

John our tour guide and the bus driver was so fun and full of information and excitement to share with us all the Memphis information and history! The bbq was fantastic too! We all really really enjoyed our tour!!

Easy way to learn a lot about the area, Taylor was knowledgeable, Central BBQ was awesome and the Civil Rights Museum wonderful! Did not have enough time at the museum which means we just have to come back...its a really, really big time in our Nations history and I feel I was able to absorb it all. Not a complaint at all just a heads up for those expecting or needing more time.

The guide was extremely informative with a bit of local color thrown in for good measure. The driver was very patient with those of us who stayed behind due to mobility issues.
