This trip was life changing. What a humbling experience to see where the king came from. Our guide John Beach was so knowledgeable and so personable. Our driver Rex was an expert navigator. My sister and I were blown away by this experience. We would highly recommend.

Loved seeing Elvis’ childhood home, his elementary school, and most of all the hardware store where he got his first guitar. Our guide had a great sense of humor and a lot of knowledge. My first time in Tupelo—great walking where Elvis began.

Brian was very knowledgeable about the beers, breweries and the area. It was obvious he has a great relationship with the staff and owners at the breweries.

Memphis is the hub of a lot of American music history. This museum tells you all about it. You can also listen to a selection of music at each stop. Lots of Memphis music-related artifacts on display. Really well-designed. Good gift shop too.

I have used Cool Destinations twice since arriving in Memphis. This time visiting the Woodruff Mansion was amazing. It was an easy purchase and the museum had me already on their list of participants. It just really made the experience worth the money.

Visit the Woodruff-Fontaine House at 680 Adams Avenue in Memphis' Victorian Village Historic District. See how Memphis' early millionaires lived. It was home to two prominent Memphis families -- Amos Woodruff, a successful carriage maker who built the house for his family in 1871, and Nolan Fontaine, an established businessman who purchased the house from the Woodruffs in 1883. His family lived here until 1929. Later, it became the Memphis College of Arts. In 1962, after standing empty for many years, the house was acquired and restored by the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities. The 19th century French Victorian mansion, filled with antique furnishings, is open to the public for tours from noon to 4 Wednesday through Sunday. In 1971, the Woodruff-Fontaine House and the adjacent James Lee House were listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

We had a great time with Bobby visiting all the sites of the early years. The bus driver and Bobby were extra helpful with my mother and her walker. A great trip!

As its name suggests, this museum traces the development of rock and soul music. Starting with the influence of rural blues and country music, the exhibits show how Memphis became a hub for blues, gospel, and jazz musicians and then home of pioneers of rock and roll and soul at spots like Sun Studios and Stax Records.Admission includes a headset which plays narration and song clips that go along with the displays. It's not a very large museum, but it's very well curated with lots of artifacts and clear organization. There are several other music museums in town, but if you can only visit one, start here for a good overview of music in Memphis.

This was a great way to get to know Memphis. Our tourguide, Shannon, and bussruver, Ms. Princess, were an amazing combo. The Rock 'n' Sould Museum and Riverboats are must sees. Totally satisfied and would go on another tour with the family. There is SO much to do in Memphis.

This is a lovely house to come visit. The docent are very helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed walking through it.

Great displays. Loved all the displays and all the supporting information provided. This allowed me and my teenage son to thoroughly take in all the exhibits.
