Welcome to Kansas

Kansas is a Central U.S. state, with the geographic center of the 48 contiguous states located near the small town of Lebanon. After statehood in 1861, Dodge City in south-central Kansas became the east-bound railroad shipment hub for cattle driven up from Texas. Called the Cowboy Capital of the World, the town gave birth to many legends of the Old West and the exploits of gunfighters like Wyatt Earp. Kansas offers abundant outdoor attractions including the Flint Hills, with the continent’s largest remaining tract of natural tallgrass prairie, and many lakes, rivers, and state parks. Amazing adventure!

This trip was everything I hoped it would be. This is not a zoo and the price of admission reflects that. Breakfast, lunch and unlimited snacks and soda are included. Specialty drinks and alcohol are also available and included in some packages.We had two full days in the park. We chose 4 animal experiences and were able to add two more on arrival. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Their first concern is the safety and comfort of the animals. The animals choose to participate...or not. Rules about safety and petting are presented clearly.We were able to interact with birds, lemurs, giraffes, rhinos, otters and more. Feeding stations are included in admission. The animals were calm and appeared content.Things to know: 1. Wear comfortable shoes. The walking is flat but you will get lots of steps in. 2. Crowds are managed for the benefit of the animals. Humans won't feel crowded either. 3. Mobility impaired and kid friendly. There is a play area and a splash pad. They offer scooter (rentals?). 4. Food is good and the portions are generous.I would definitely consider a return visit.

Great Time at Zip KC

I had a great time at Zip KC! I had a coincidentally private zip line tour with a friend. Phoenix and Casey were wonderful guides! They provided a fun atmosphere while keeping us safe and also giving some great information about the area. I highly recommend this fun activity near KC!

Fun experience!

Great for first-timers and people who just want an easy-going experience. My son really enjoyed it for his first time. We did the 6:30 hike and zip, the weather was great. Our guides Austin and Naz were a lot of fun, great conversation and pointing out little treasures along the way. Also took our safety and theirs very seriously. Everyone was very friendly, relaxed, and wanted to make sure you had good time. Absolutely recommend!

We had a great time the package for videos and pictures. We got someone else’s pictures our videos. The experience was fun. There needs to be better organization on who gets what videos and pictures.

My husband & I are big Gunsmoke fans so looked forward to this tour. It was well worth the price and we did tour the museum, which we enjoyed. The tour guide’s voice is perfect for this kind of application and look forward to to using his tours in other cities.

An Anniversary Celebration

The cast was animated, funny, and all in. Stabbing victims screamed, groaned, and flopped on the floor. Hidden cast members wined, dined, and shared red herring clues with the guests. The big reveal was creative, too. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary celebration. We'd do it again.

If you want to learn more about the Metro

What a fun way to spend the morning. We've lived in the metro for over 30 year and we learned so much and saw so many interesting sights. It was a wonderful learning experience. Even on a drizzly day, it was great. We will definitely be taking more of their hikes in the future.
