What a fun bike ride on a quiet day in Tucson. Jimmy kept things easy going and relaxed for my family of 6 on this tour; answering questions and sharing cool insights about the city and it's history. We had a blast and would highly recommend to those new visitors looking to get a lay of the land and learn a few cool facts along the way.

The Historic Tucson Bike tour provided a terrific introduction to the history and culture of the city along with an overview of several downtown Tucson neighborhoods. The tour was very well organized and equipment was in perfect condition. Jimmy took the time to make sure every participant was comfortable with their bike and familiar with hand signals prior to the start of the tour.Highlights of the tour included a description of the rich history of Tucson, views of amazing local architecture and many stops to learn about the characteristics of several neighborhoods.

The tour was everything I had hoped for: an introduction to the older parts of Tucson with information about the history of the area....all easily seen in a 9 mile ride with lots of stops. The city and the barrios are charming, the streets are quiet, and it all makes for a lovely ride.

Great to get on a bike in nice weather. Jimmy, the owner and our tour guide, was knowledgeable about Tucson and funny. The kids enjoyed the entire experience and the tour gave us a good overview of the city for later exploring.

It rained on Christmas Eve so our tour was cancelled but Jimmy offered an opportunity to do it on Christmas Day which was very nice of him. Otherwise we were leaving the day after Christmas and would have missed doing the tour. We had so much fun and Jimmy was so very knowledgeable about the history of the downtown Tucson area. We would definitely do another tour with him again. The mural tour or taco tour both sound fun also. Such a fun activity. Helmets were provided.

Jimmy conducts a laid back, fun bike ride while comprehensively covering Tucson’s history and seeing first hand significant historical sights. I loved the experience and so did my daughter and my grandson.

This was a really nice tour. Jimmy, our guide, was very personable and informative. Stopping at the bakery and providing treats for the riders was a really nice added touch. The ride itself was very moderate in terms of effort - pretty much all flat with a couple of minor exceptions. The bikes were comfortable and well maintained. Overall it was a very nice way to see the downtown area, and get a general introduction to Tucson.

What a great way to learn about Tucson! Jimmy is very knowledgeable and taught us so much about not only Tucson but the areas surrounding Tucson. Very considerate and conscience of safety for all of us in the group. I will definitely recommend friends planning a visit to the area to do this tour.

Loved how much "Big Jim" knew about the history of the city, the native people, the settlers. Also, how knowledgeable he was about the ongoing story of Tucson. Such a great way to get to know the city and a great ride for anyone at any biking level! Do it!!!

I've been visiting family in Tucson my whole life but learned more than I ever knew about the city and surrounding area following our 2 hour bicycle tour with Jimmy! A few notes about my experience which I think capture its overall value:1) Jimmy was born to be an unconventional storyteller (a guided bicycle tour of historic Tucson is one way of accomplishing as much). He's an savvy, jocular guide, keeping everyone engaged so that the two hour expedition never lulls or becomes redundant.2) The route is well planned and provides a good snapshot of the oldest neighborhoods (charming stretches of adobe architecture) in Tucson, as well as its more contemporary and future-oriented areas (i.e. a jaunt through the university and along 4th Avenue, which is largely populated by teenagers). There is hardly any change in terrain, so you won't be huffing and puffing on your bicycle (which are very comfortable!).3) This experience is really quite a good value --- $50 for 2 hours of entertainment, exercise and learning can't be beat. Be sure to tip well! Can't recommend this more!
