Tamarindo 2026 Calendar of Events

I highly recommend Tama Dive if you’re looking for a fun dive in Tamarindo! Franko was my instructor and he was amazing! He was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable and even helped me work on some of my weaker skills. We got to see multiple sea turtles, eagle rays, pufferfish, eels, trumpet fish, starfish and many other cool critters. We even got to see dolphins and turtles on the surface while on the boat. It was a 2 tank dive and both locations were amazing. The crew on the boat was very professional and made everything go smoothly. I hope someday I can come back for the Bull shark experience!

I highly recommend this tour! We got to do horseback riding, river tubing, zip lining which included a rock climb and swing, had a lovely lunch and finished the day relaxing in the hot springs with the mud bath. The whole day was exciting and it was everything I hoped it would be. Everything went smoothly and Alberto was the best tour guide! He was so friendly and added so much fun to the experience. He even ran up and down the hill to get my other shoes from the van when I had to switch them for horseback riding. I was nervous about going solo but my tour group was lovely and we all became friends right off the bat. I would totally do this again and recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing time with Kevin! He was friendly and knowledgeable which made the whole tour fun and memorable! The sweetest surprise was the birthday cake he brought for 3 celebrants 🎂🥳 It made our birthday celebration extra special. We had such a wonderful day and would definitely recommend this tour!

It was fun and very organized. I learned a lot about Costa Rica and would love to return to explore more.

I'm so happy that i booked this tour, the views were amazing, we hike for about 2 hours and enjoying everything inside the rain and dry forest. Spot a few birds, it was raining on off so i suggesting to bring a rain jacket..the view from up there are spectacular about 2000 feet high. After that we went to the water fall ( but we couldn't swim because of the rain) had a delicious lunch in a local restaurant with different options of food😋 and finally relaxed at the hot springs and take a bath with the volcanic mud,the water is so hot. Our guide was prepared and explained us everything about the tour, and also our driver Frank did a good job. I high recommend it 👌

We had a great time on the Timorouba Catamaran! The tour took us to a beautiful private beach area with great snorkeling, lunch, and cocktails! We had an amazing sail back with a super fun and friendly group, which made the experience even better.Highly recommend the Timorouba Catamaran for a fun and relaxing day on the water!

This was the ultimate highlight of our time in Costa Rica! We experienced a great variety of roads, back roads, off-roading, and most especially riding on the beautiful beaches of the Guanacaste region.Our guide Joseph was AMAZING! He's patient, attentive, knowledgeable, fun, and interesting! He is the perfect example of the grace and love of life that "Pura Vida" represents. Thank you, Joseph!

The tour was great! We were able to see three out of six sloths and saw other animals as well. The waterfall was beautiful but you could not get close to it. 10/10 recommend this tour.

Kuna Vela Sailing was a great sunset sail and snorkel trip. The best skipper, Israel and first mate, Andres. we saw Turtles mating, dolphins leaping in front of the boat and got to sail back with 30-40 knot winds. Great time.

I booked this tour last minute to see a different part of Tamarindo and my boyfriend and I had a great time! Ivan was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and would point out animals we could barely see. We saw a couple small crocodiles, lots of birds, and he took us on a short walk to see monkeys. From pickup to drop off, our experience was great and gave us a relaxing morning!

Great staff. Good food. Beautiful views. I would definitely recommend this activity. Our group had a great time.

The customer service was excellent from the time we were picked up at our hotel, on our water taxi to the catamaran. The crew was so friendly, accommodating, and throughly explained what we’d be doing. The boat was gorgeous, fully stocked with whatever you wanted, We arrived at our snorkeling location, geared up, slid down a slide to get into the water and away we went. The water temperature was great, clear water, beautiful fish, and we saw an El Ray, a shark, sea turtle and it was like watching a Disney movie. As we were departing we were treated to a tasting bbq chicken, beans, rice, salsa, fresh fruit and chocolate chip cookies. This is a must do excursion. Pura Vida

The zip lining was incredible! The hanging bridges were beautiful! The entire experience was so amazing, I highly recommend this experience. The grounds were extremely well kept and the staff were phenomenal. We had lunch at the restaurant, which was fresh, hot and delicious. 5-stars all around!
