Taiwan 2026 Calendar of Events

Our tour guide, Bill, was fantastic! He made the experience seamless, had endless amounts of fascinating stories to share with us, and even drove the entire day. He was so warm and personable that it felt like we were being taken around town by a family member rather than a tour guide.

This is the way to see the sites. We loved our private tour, the air conditioned car, the kind and knowledgeable guide, and the beautiful city. Thank you.

Alex was a great tour guide, I enjoyed the history of the neighborhood as much as a I did the food. If you have never been to Taipei before a cooking class is great way to be introduced to all the must try foods. We made the Beef Noodle Soup, I learned some new techniques for making noodles, and Alex shared his Osmanthus Oolong Tea with us as well!

I have done two food tours in Taipei: this one with Taipei Eats and a much cheaper one with another company. This tour was far superior to the other one I did. The guide, Jean, was incredibly knowledgeable, interesting, patient, and professional. She knew so much about Taiwanese cuisine, culture, and history. I learned so much from her. The tour of the market was fun. There were so many stops and all of them were fantastic, especially the guabao and the stinky tofu. The tour is definitely worth your time and money!

We had an absolute blast with our guide! She was patient and very accommodating! So very helpful and very personable. Took us to an amazing tea spot where we had delicious tea. Sonia was wonderful and I if you can get her you will be lucky.

We had a lovely time with Roger! He showed us all the highlights and his favorite boba tea shop which we also loved. We really enjoyed the park and rock formations. The Juifen was lively and a must visit.

Eva was such a fantastic guide! She arrived early and ready to walk me though hidden away places, providing interesting info and history. The food choices were wonderful and she gave very thoughtful backgrounds on each dish. Would very much recommend again!

Great tour and amazing first immersion in Taipei, I would 100% recommend it on your first days to get acquainted with the city, its customs and a traditional Taiwanese breakfast ! Our guide was brilliant, she was very attentive to each person in the tour, she shared her experience of the city, she made us feel like we belong in Taipei! 🙏 And as for the cycling, it’s very easy so if you wonder whether you can do it, the answer is likely yes!

We were so blessed to have Paul show us around northern Taiwan! He’s extremely knowledgeable, kind, welcoming, witty, and engaging. He loves his country and his passion for Taiwan is infectious!We stayed in Taipei for 4 nights and are so grateful we decided to tour with Paul to see the greater sights outside of the city. What a beautiful country! He knows the best spots and took us on the most incredible tour. My husband and I highly recommend hiring Paul for your Taiwan tour!

Eva was absolutely fantastic! We did the Hidden Gems tour of Taipei with her, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. She took my partner and me to places we never would have discovered on our own, and there’s no way we could have experienced so much in the limited time we had in Taipei.One of the surprises was the tea tasting. I honestly didn’t think it was something I would be that interested in, but I’m so glad we did it — it was such a unique and memorable experience.Eva was warm, knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire day feel personal rather than like a typical tour. She really gave us a chance to experience a side of Taipei we otherwise would have missed. She also gave us recommendations for other places to see and places to eat while we are here on our short stay in Taipei.I highly recommend this tour, and if you have the opportunity to do it with Eva, even better. I truly couldn’t recommend her more!

This was an amazing experience. Everything was so thoughtfully planned out! It was such a unique way to learn about the city, see a ton of things we probably wouldn’t have found on our own and even sample some traditional breakfast foods! It was more than we had expected and highly recommend!!

This was the best tour we took on our 3 week trip to Asia. Pauline, our tour guide, was amazing. She was knowledgeable, spoke great English and she told really good stories. She brought Taiwan history to life. We walked down small alleyways, ate food, drank bubble tea and really enjoyed ourselves. Take this tour!

Alex was such a nice guy, the atmosphere at home was so friendly, and the rokkaku rice was so delicious!

Tina and the tour were terrific! She is very knowledgeable about the food, preparation, and local history. I learned so much. The food sampling choices were excellent. Word to the wise… skip breakfast to prepare for the amount included. Highly recommend!!!

Our instructor Diana was really great - provided easy to understand instruction and kept the class moving along well. We all enjoyed learning about the history of xiao ling bao and boba, and enjoying the fruits of our labor.
