This tour is great! Covers all the “must see” spots along the way. A great tour to get an overview around St. John’s so you can go back on your own to spend more time if you choose. Bill, our guide, was very knowledgeable and had great tips and suggestions for things to see and do. Would highly recommend!

It’s a 6 hour private tour that’s personal and not at all rushed. There is plenty of time at each stop for visiting and picture taking. All the must - see sites are included and more. Having a private tour and personal guide is well worth it. Our guide Sandra was awesome…very knowledgeable and sprinkled the conversation with funny stories of Newfoundlanders. Having a personal guide allows for interesting free flowing conversation throughout the tour. Excellent lunch at Petty Harbour. Highly recommend this tour.

A small group driver / guide led trip around St John’s. Our leader, Brian is extremely knowledgable and has lots of interesting facts to share. We had about the right time at each stop although for slow walkers it might be difficult to get up to the light house at Cape Spear. We were lucky to see a fisherman bring in his catch.

We enjoyed the day immensely. Sandra was a wonderful guide. The personal tour allowed for easy flowing conversation throughout the tour. We enjoyed not feeling rushed and having many opportunities for taking fabulous photos. Lunch in Petty Harbour was excellent. Cape Spear was a highlight with spectacular views. We really enjoyed Sandra's anecdotes about Newfoundlanders. We highly recommend this tour.

We had an incredible time on this 3-hour tour, and our guide, Dan I believe, made the experience truly exceptional! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the local history and culture to life at every stop. It is the perfect way to see the top highlights around St. John's, especially if you are short on time. Standing at the edge of North America at the historic Cape Spear Lighthouse was breathtaking, and exploring the WWII bunkers was a fascinating bonus. The tour balances rugged coastal beauty with local culture perfectly. We loved the stops at the picturesque fishing villages of Petty Harbour and Quidi Vidi, which offer a true taste of authentic Newfoundland outport living. The panoramic views from Cabot Tower on Signal Hill were absolutely awe-inspiring, and getting to see the vibrant Jellybean Row houses downtown was the perfect finishing touch. We never felt rushed despite packing so much into 3 hours. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area! Short walk from the cruise ship to the bus location/store front.

The ideal way to see St Johns at your own pace. You might ride in the pink mini bus van or a school bus but the driver/tour guides always have insightful comments about the history or city. A great way to see St. John’s from one end to the other. No matter what the weather. Stops/ pickup points are easy to find. We were able to use both days of our pass but you get your money’s worth if you only have one.

The tour was fantastic and our driver/guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed the half day tour as we still had time to explore the downtown core before going back on the cruise ship.

Three friends and I were on a Virgin Cruise (Iceland/Greenland/NE Canada) and decided to take a tour off the set agenda for the Virgin listed land tours when we docked in St. John’s, Newfoundland. After reading the reviews for this tour I was excited. Little did I know this hike would far exceed my expectations and end up being my favorite land excursion of the entire trip. Deneen is a local and was an excellent tour lead. She is friendly, professional, interesting, and a lovely person. We learned so much about St. John’s and the entire region including key historical events. We sampled the wild blueberries growing along our trail and learned a lot about the local vegetation. The landscape and views will completely blow your mind. We really enjoyed this private tour and highly recommend it. Thank you Deneen and George. Hope to see you again.
