We enjoyed the day immensely. Sandra was a wonderful guide. The personal tour allowed for easy flowing conversation throughout the tour. We enjoyed not feeling rushed and having many opportunities for taking fabulous photos. Lunch in Petty Harbour was excellent. Cape Spear was a highlight with spectacular views. We really enjoyed Sandra's anecdotes about Newfoundlanders. We highly recommend this tour.

We had an incredible time exploring St. John’s and the coast with Sandra. She is an incredibly warm and engaging guide who made the entire day a total joy. Conversation with her is effortless, and her deep roots in the area truly make every location jump out at you. Beyond taking us to all the must see landmarks, she filled the day with local knowledge, history, laughs and personal stories. The stuff you would never find in a guidebook.Her genuine kindness and hospitality blew us away. An example, when I accidentally dropped my coffee before even taking a sip she immediately handed me hers and went without. It was just one of many things throughout the day that showed her thoughtful character.Another plus, Sandra has a real passion for photography. Thanks to her expert eye we ended up capturing amazing photos and from angles we never would have thought of on our own.If you are visiting the area, look no further. This tour is hands down the best experience you could ever ask for. Thank you so much for being the highlight of our visit to Newfoundland.

Tour guide, Brendan, was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Time at each location was not enough so I will book separate tours in future to make the most of each sight! I would recommend this tour if you have just a couple of hours to spare to see as much of St. John's as possible.

The ideal way to see St Johns at your own pace. You might ride in the pink mini bus van or a school bus but the driver/tour guides always have insightful comments about the history or city. A great way to see St. John’s from one end to the other. No matter what the weather. Stops/ pickup points are easy to find. We were able to use both days of our pass but you get your money’s worth if you only have one.

This tour was so enjoyable. It covers the major sights around St. John’s in 3 hours. But, it was our tour guide Leo who made it such a great experience. Leo’s story telling was very informative and entertaining at the same time. Highly recommend.

It was an excellent tour! The tour guide/driver Bill showed great pride in St. John’s being a resident for several years. He was full of knowledge and provided great info along many stops. The tour was packed full of all the hotspots of places to see. I would highly recommend!!

The tour was fantastic and our driver/guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed the half day tour as we still had time to explore the downtown core before going back on the cruise ship.

Money well spent. Better value than excursions booked with Virgin Voyages. The pickup was a little chaotic, we stood around a while looking for someone in a red vest, then walked until we saw a McCarthy's bus and asked the driver. Better signage at the gate would be helpful when tourists have no idea what they're looking for. The excursion was great. Bill was our guide and driver, and we enjoyed his love for the area and his passion for the stories. The drive was scenic, Cape Spear was very interesting and he explained where we were and what we were looking at. We could look on our own, or stick with him as he told stories. Great stop with a fantastic view. Signal Hill was interesting with a lovely view over the harbor, and we could see our ship. Quidi Vidi is a picturesque community along a lake, this would be a lovely place to spend an evening. Nice little craft shop with the usual wonderful locally made pieces. Bill also gave us a good look at Jellybean Row. Great tour.

Andrew the guide was very knowledgeable. He was born & lived there his whole life. We stayed with him for the whole trip.
