We'd booked for the Thursday but the dam didn't open, so we were offered the Saturday morning at the same time.Great trip with three others - got well and truly wet and had a fabulous time. Went for two hours - did three runs on the river.Recommend it!

We had a fantastic experience on our sunrise walk up Snowdon with Hywen. Although unfortunately we didn’t get to see the sunrise due to the rainy and very windy weather conditions, the experience was still absolutely brilliant! Hywen was fantastic from start to finish — really informative, friendly and reassuring. He looked after us all the way up and back down, especially when the conditions became quite challenging. We always felt well looked after and in safe hands. We were also very lucky to have six lovely girls in our group who we hadn’t met before. They were all so friendly and really added to the whole experience, making it even more enjoyable and memorable. Sadly, no sunrise this time… but maybe next time! 😂🌅 Would definitely recommend Hywen and the experience to anyone looking to climb Snowdon. Tash and Kerry

We did the Extreme Canyoning in Snowdonia with Adventure Activities Wales and it was easily one of the best things we've done. Our guide Sol was brilliant from start to finish. He was calm, funny and clearly knew every inch of the canyon, which made it easy to relax and throw ourselves into the jumps, slides and abseils. He pushed us just enough to try things we wouldn't have on our own, but never made anyone feel pressured.Safety briefing was clear, the kit was good quality, and the whole day was really well organised. Great value for money for an experience this memorable. If you're on the fence, just book it, and ask for Sol!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Fantastic day canyoning with Sol!We had an absolutely brilliant day going extreme canyoning in Llanberis, North Wales. Sol was a fantastic guide — really friendly, knowledgeable and great fun to be around.We got to experience a great variety of slides, chutes, jumps and natural pools, with plenty of adrenaline along the way. Sol made the whole experience feel exciting but also safe and well organised.The scenery through the gorge was amazing, and the whole day was just great fun from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend Going Extreme Canyoning to anyone looking for an exciting day out in North Wales.Thanks Sol, we’ll definitely be back!

Sol was a lovely guy, relaxed and happy to help us do whatever we wanted with the right gear. He was clearly very experienced and was a really friendly presence. He was also a natural encouraging teacher.

Sam was the guide for our small group, what a lovely young man who really helped and supported me to achieve the summit. It was altogether an amazing experience and very enjoyable even though it was a tough hike for my 74 year old legs. I would definitely recommend it.

First time hiking solo and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was really well organised with clear and straightforward instructions and guidance from booking to the end. Tom our leader was brilliant, really knowledgeable but also so friendly, approachable and down to earth. He made everyone feel comfortable, was always happy to help and just made the whole day that much more enjoyable. You could tell he genuinely cared about everyone having a good experience. A really great guy and a credit to the team. The group was a good size with a good mix of people. Overall such a brilliant experience and definitely one I won’t forget. Me and 7 of my friends decided that climbing Snowdon in the middle of the night to watch the sunrise was the perfect way to raise money for charity. Half of us weren’t convinced we’d even make it halfway up, never mind reach the summit… how wrong we were! 😂We met our amazing guide, Hywyn, at the ridiculous time of 2:40am, and from the very beginning he was full of encouragement, positivity and reassurance. His knowledge of Snowdon, the mountain and the local area was incredible, and his stories and humour along the way were a welcome distraction whenever our legs were screaming at us to stop! 😂Hywyn was absolutely brilliant at judging our pace. He was patient and understanding, but also knew exactly when to keep us moving and not let us stop for too long. Because of this, we hit every milestone he had planned and, somehow, made it all the way to the summit in time for sunrise! 🌅Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and decided to cover the summit in thick fog, so we couldn’t see a thing! You can’t book the weather… but you can book Hywyn! 😂We’d also been forecast a dry climb, which clearly didn’t happen! The rain came down, but Hywyn’s infectious, cheerful personality (and those very bright orange clothes!) kept us going when we really wanted to give up.Honestly, I genuinely don’t think we would have made it to the top without him. He was an absolute gem of a guy, an incredible guide and a huge part of what made this experience so special.We’re so proud of ourselves for completing such a huge challenge, and incredibly grateful to Hywyn for getting us there safely, keeping our spirits up and making the whole experience one we’ll never forget.If you’re thinking about climbing Snowdon, especially for a sunrise hike, I couldn’t recommend Hywyn enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you, Hywyn! 🧡🏔️🌅

We had a great afternoon gorgeous scrambling. Zach was brilliant with everyone, reading our party well; a balance of encouragement, challenge and offering options at different levels. We had great fun in the best water park ever, the great outdoors!

If you fancy something different and adventurous then the extreme caving is perfect. From a short abseil into the caves then exploration underground (be prepared to get wet!) with alternative route options for the braver people, to climbing out of the caves, the whole experience is really good fun. Sol the guide meets you near the entrance, kits you up in suitable gear that's all clean. Sol is brilliant, very patient and encouraging for the more nervous of our party and knowledgeable about the caves themselves. We talked a couple of times beforehand and Sol made sure we knew what to expect. If we return to Wales we will definitely be doing other adventure activities with Sol. Highly recommend!

Brilliant morning. Sol was an excellent guide, friendly, reassuring and competent. Really enjoyed our morning, it was a challenge but felt a real achievement, particularly stepping over the edge. Sol took photos and sent them on, for many companies this is an additional cost.

We had an amazing time with Sol exploring a lead mine. Sol is very knowledgeable about the mine and its history, and ensured that we had a smooth and safe trip through the various levels of the mine, would definitely recommend 👍🏼

We booked a package to take 22 Explorer scouts and leaders on the ultimate rafting experience. Fantastic experience throughout from booking through to the actual event. The group absolutely loved the experience and all the instructors were professional and fun throughout. would highly recommend as we will be booking again as a group and individually!
