This was the best. I was hesitant about doing a “bus tour” but this tour was incredible. You get to see things you would never be able to on your own. Our guide, Mike, was OUTSTANDING. Very knowledgeable and fun! Also, our ship did a last minute change in itinerary and you’all took care of it without a hitch! Our pre-tour convos with Claudia was fabulous. Always quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely recommend.

Mike was an awesome guide for our tour. Made alot of beautiful scenic stops so we could take photos and had lots of great stories to tell about the area. We would definitely recommend this trip to others.Ska

The tour guide ensured that we experienced captivating and unique natural splendor during this tour. I like outdoor adventure and therefore I really had a great time in this tour, experiencing much of the beauty of the Canadian wilderness.

Mike was a great. Funny, informative, lots of stories. The one about the polar bear was very interesting. Stopped at several places along the way. Didn't realize all the earthquakes that the area has. here again another great story. Went into Canada {about 1 mile}. Was having him take photo's of our group and when viewing, guess who's face was one of the shots. Very funny. This guy makes the tour great. Much better than the train and you get commentary that's different.

Mike was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we got great pictures. We really enjoyed the bus tour. The White Pass Railroad was good but this bus tour is better because it stops and there are many opportunities for photos.

I went on the photography tour in Skagway through an excursion from Princess Cruise Lines. Dale Cunning was our guide/photographer for the day. Even though it was a rainy day, the excursion was great. I saw some great scenery and Dale was very helpful with tips and tricks on using the camera and phone to capture some stunning shots. Looking forward to the excursion on my next trip to Skagway.

This excursion was offered by Holland America when our ship visited Skagway and was the best excursion of our entire trip. Our guide was Dale Cunning and he was knowledgable, and fun to be with. The van was newer and nice and the locations Dale took us to were spectacular. Thanks Dale!

Puppies! We had so much fun meeting the puppies and their momma as well as the resident Golden Retriever. The “sled” pulling ride was a blast! They pulled us through beautiful country and mud puddles ( we put our feet up and didn’t get muddy) the dogs listened well and knew their jobs. The lead dog chewed free of his harness and it was so funny to watch him run ahead and then come back to make sure they were all following him. You could tell that the dogs loved running and pulling us. And of course, the 5 puppies were the icing on the cake! Would definitely do this excursion again.

First off, our guide's name was Mike. Mike was SO funny and welcoming. My wife and I were laughing the entire excursion. At all the stops we made, he would offer to take a picture of us in the scenery... The first time he did this, he took a quick selfie of himself as a joke. We found out hours later when we were going through all the photos and we thought it was hilarious.Beyond our fantastic guide, the stops for photos were amazing. Mike admitted that the stops depend on weather, how many other guides are there already, time, and a few other reasons. So this means he changes the destinations of our pit photo stops along the way so we have full privacy to take our photos without being cramped! It was great! All through the trip, Mike gave us wonderful stories and histories not only about Skagway but of the locations we visited.The suspension bridge is really great, it is in Canada, so bring your passports, and it's a bit of a drive, but it's all a wonderful experience. We made an impromptu stop because Mike spotted mountain goats, so he lent out his binoculars and we all stood and watched the animals scale the side of the mountain!If you are looking for an excursion that will make you laugh, give you stories and history, go to off-the-trail photo locations, and have an all-around blast of a time, choose this excursion. You WILL NOT regret it.

This was well worth the time. We were very fortunate to have excellent sunny weather. I have a couple of tips: This is not a "safari". It is an hour boat ride to a beaching area where you will board two old buses that take you (10 min) to a base camp. The guides are well versed in the area and you will need to be at the front of the bus to hear them. There you will exchange your shoes/boots for knee high rubber boots. Wear thick insulated socks! The only thing between your feet and the cold water/mud is the thickness of the rubber boot. You will walk through the rain forest to a put in point where you will row a canoe to another take out point. Not difficult. The wearing of the bulky life jacket will make it very cumbersome to bring along a back pack. Water is standing in the bottom of the canoes so be careful with where you place carry-ons. The guides were very personable and informative. Beautiful unspoiled nature at it's best. The views were spectacular. Bottom line is that I would do it again.

The ride to the camp was informative. The dogs were well cared for and so much fun to interact with. You don't often see a group of adults that happy at the same time! Highly recommend!

What a great experience! The staff the tour guide and the pups were all wonderful! Would do it again in a heart beat!

The summit view, the dog & puppies and our tour guide was awesome and knowledgeable. There was an additional fee for enjoying the sled ride experience but I didn't take it because just playing with the dogs and learning about mushing and the competitions they joined was enough for me.

Drivers were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to accommodate us. They also provided great insight and information about Skagway and its people.

What a great day ! Vanesa our guide took our group of five on a private journey that exceeded our high expectations. From the moment we left Skagway she made us feel comfortable and actually became a member of our travel team. Vanesa passed on a wealth of info that both educated and entertained us. We stopped for photo opportunities in many locations, had some time to explore Carcross and had great fun getting everyone to man up and cross the suspension bridge. Lunch at the bridge was a bonus sampling some great food you just don’t find back home. It’s said that we make our own memories but when you have someone like Vanesa leading the way the memories make you smile and last forever. Thanks Vanesa for the info, memories and laughs!
