We has Elvis Rimirez for our tour guide and let me say he made our experience so amazing. He was nice, conversational, and very informative. He had so much energy that it wore off on us all which made it better. If you book this tour ask for Elvis Rimirez you will not be disappointed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TheAugustin was our personal driver. Communication of where to meet was accurate and we were greeted with a smile. We were introduced and had a caravan with comfortable seats and air conditioning. This was a personal tour so maximized our time at each location. Admission to the excursions were taken care of and we walked right in to begin our activity and when completed he was waiting for us so there were no crowds. All of the excursion staff were extremely pleasant and patient. I'd recommend this tour for anyone wanting an adventure and a walk on the wild side.

He was super friendly and accommodating, Everyone at Damagua waterfalls, not sure how to spell lol, Felix our guide & Darling our photographer made the falls awesome!! The monkeys were so cute! Alfredo is an AMAZING tour guide. He is attentive and tailors the tour to your individual requests. He answers questions on the spot that varied from traditional tours. In addition, he is a great photographer. He is definitely a jewel in his country and showcases the local culture in a honest way.

Had a phenomenal experience doing this excursion! I had a group of 14 so of course there were some hiccups with picking all of us up but once we got everyone settled and on the bus to the bay, it was amazing! The boat and staff were amazing and so nice and funny, the food was great, drinks were flowing non stop. It was one big pool party in the ocean😂. Would definitely do it again! This was the best day on my trip to DR.

Easy booking and Lotta reached out to us with information about getting picked up right away.Picked up by Richard, the company owner, who is very knowledgeable about the DR. After a long but comfortable ride to Sosua, we were fitted for gear and headed down to the beach to boat out to the reef spots. We had a personalized tour for just our family of six, but the larger cruise excursions were also there. Meh, more people equaled more fish food and more fish to see. The company will even take photos and videos of your family to send home to you before you leave, all excellent quality.Employees Alex, Elvis, and Franklin were top notch.Day ended at the beach where you can expect tourist prices on food and beer, despite the favorable exchange rate. (Consider the $1 empanadas right outside the tour office!)Overall great experience! Safe, easy, and WAY cheaper than the cruise excursions. Thanks, Eric and company!

Our family had a fantastic experience! We had a team of guides that made our experience one of kind and was perfectly fitted to our family of 8 that ranged in age from 8-50. We were promptly met at the meeting point with a nice van with water provided, we were the first tour at the falls, our items were kept safe, the buggy ride was a blast, and we were escorted to the mine and shopping at the end since we had extra time prior to returning to port. Overall great tour and guides and would definitely recommend this team.

Amazing experience! Great value! Waterfall experience is beautiful and so much fun, monkey experience is hilarious and fun! The pictures they take of your experience are gorgeous! Rigo waited for us at every part of the experience and took us to the next. Never had to wait! Highly recommend!

We booked a private tour for 3 family members. My dad being one has dementia and mobility issues. The tour operator was even able to accommodate my dad 4 wheel scooter. My dad dementia has progressed much quicker than we projected and we had ta cancel our private tour. The tour operator wrote a beautiful note back to me and refunded our complete deposit. We will definitely look them up our next time to the DR

First of all, we could not have asked for a better tour guide (Jonathan). My wife and I have been on several excursions through the years and we would rank Jonathan as one of the best guides we’ve had. He took us around several areas of the city and explained each area as we went. We felt safe at all times while on this tour. He took time to take pics of every one on our group without being asked. Must have taken 20 or more pics. We highly recommend using Jonathan tours.

Leonel was the private driver and guide for my family’s day in Puerto Plata. He picked us up inside the Amber Cove port at the taxi stand as prearranged. All communication was done through What’s App with Rigo. He was very communicative and helpful. Leonel took us to a local farm for a tour, a local beach for a few hours and also escorted us through a local grocery store to pick up coffee and vanilla. I would highly recommend their services. If we come to Peurto Plata again, we will use their service again.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with POP Dominican Travel on our excursion to Damajagua Waterfalls and Monkey Home in Puerto Plata! This was one of the highlights of our trip and such a perfect combination of adventure, nature, local hospitality, and unforgettable memories.Damajagua Waterfalls was beautiful, exciting, and so much fun. The hiking, the clear water, the natural rock slides, and the waterfalls made it feel like a true Dominican adventure. Monkey Home was also a joy — the monkeys were adorable, playful, and such a unique experience. It was a great opportunity to interact with them, take photos, and enjoy something very different from a typical beach day.We especially want to thank Rigo, who coordinated everything so smoothly and made the whole process easy and stress-free. Maria, our driver, was excellent — safe, kind, patient, and professional. And Elier was amazing as our interpreter and professional photographer. He helped us understand everything, made us feel comfortable, and captured beautiful photos so we could simply enjoy the moment.Everything was well organized, personal, and welcoming. We never felt rushed, and we appreciated how much care the team put into making sure we had a great day. This excursion gave us adventure, laughter, beautiful scenery, and memories we will always treasure.We highly recommend POP Dominican Travel to anyone visiting Puerto Plata. Damajagua Waterfalls and Monkey Home are both must-do experiences, and having Rigo, Maria, and Elier involved made the day even better. Five stars all the way!
