Our tour of the Isle of Skye was awesome! Fin was AMAZING! It was clear how much she genuinely loves Scotland and the Isle of Skye. Her passion for the area came through in every story, fact, and stop we went too. She was incredibly kind, funny, and knowledgeable, and she made us feel completely comfortable and cared for throughout the entire day. Fin shared music with us throughout the day which we loved so much. Even while driving us around for hours, she made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Fin left us wanting MORE from the Isle of Skye and her tour!

Incredible day seeing beautiful sights all over Skye! Tourguides Michelle and Fin are absolutely lovely and so dedicated in what they do. They worked around the weather (which in my opinion just added to the adventure) and made sure we got to see the most we could (Fin even dug out the dinosaur foot prints in the mud!) Felt so cared for and the treats and songs were a nice addition. Most well spent money! Would recommend them to everyone! ✨

We had such a fantastic day exploring the Isle of Skye with David! He was absolutely lovely, incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience really enjoyable from start to finish.He took us to so many beautiful spots, including places we would never have known about or thought to visit ourselves. It was great being driven around and being able to relax, enjoy the scenery, and learn more about the island along the way.David was friendly, easy-going and clearly knows Skye incredibly well. The tour felt really personal rather than rushed or overly touristy. We saw so much in one day and had a brilliant time.I'd definitely recommend David to anyone visiting Skye, such a great way to experience the island!

David's team are such fun people to spend time with, and we really appreciated their incredible knowledge of Skye. Our driver was kind, personable, and incredibly flexible when our plans and the weather changed—which is especially valuable when planning anything on Skye!We asked David's team to help transport our guests to our wedding ceremony and then take them on a tour of the island afterward. Everyone really enjoyed their time with him and loved getting to experience Skye with someone who knows the island so well. This was the best tour of our vacation. John was awesome, so much fun and so much knowledge. My wife and I were the only people people in the van so it was a very private tour which was amazing. I can't recommend this tour enough.

Our guide, Willie, was really accommodating about making sure we hit all the spots that were on our wish list for the day. He mapped out a route that allowed us to see everything and was open to changes along the way. He was also flexible with the timing at each stop and easygoing about our request for multiple coffee stops :).

It’s a worthwhile experience— especially if you have a great guide like we did. Willy was super knowledgeable, accommodating and so kind.

Great tour of the countryside and castle. Guide also picked a great place for lunch with wonderful gluten free crab-cakes! Highly recommend booking!

unforgettable experience on the Isle of Skye! On September 8, 2026, we had the pleasure of exploring the incredible Isle of Skye with Michelle and Jin. Despite the frequent rain and strong winds, they made the entire day absolutely magical. We visited Portree, Kilt Rock & Mealt Falls, the Fairy Pools, the Quiraing, and many other spectacular places. Every stop was beautiful, but what truly made this tour unforgettable was the passion and warmth Michelle and Jin brought to the experience. They didn’t just show us the Isle of Skye—they introduced us to its culture, traditions, history, flavors, and music. We were treated to traditional drinks, delicious chocolate and marshmallow sweets, Drambuie, and other local delights. It was a wonderful experience for all the senses and a beautiful way to connect with the spirit of the island. Their knowledge, kindness, humor, and genuine love for their home made us feel so welcome. By the end of the tour, it no longer felt like we were simply guests on a guided excursion, it felt like we were spending the day with friends and family on a special adventure. If you are visiting the Isle of Skye, I highly recommend experiencing it with Michelle and Jin. They go far beyond simply taking you to beautiful places—they create memories that you will carry with you long after you leave. Fantastic way to see Skye without the stress of driving on the difficult roads and trying to find parking places. Saw so much more than we would have seen if we’d done it by ourselves. Driver and tour guide were both fantastic. Had a wonderful day!

We had a fabulous day with Dave and saw a lot of interesting things during the day. He took really good care of us and proposed nice places to visit. He listened in to our plan and completed it with some more interesting stops. All day he guided us and gave us a better understanding of Skye.We had a really super day, can highly recommend this company!

My wife and I had a very personalized, wonderful tour with David. At each stop he got out and walked with us, pointed out the best vantage spots, and was filled with knowledge and lore of the area. His outfit specializes in smaller more intimate tours, which not only enhances the experience but also makes it easier to get in and out of often crowded areas. I highly recommend Explore Skye!

Fantastic! John picked us up from the hotel and took us to the magical Isle of Skye. We stopped at Glenshiel chocolates where I had the best brownie and hot chocolate of my life! We stopped in the picturesque town of Portree and had lunch; John recommended a great place. Afterwards, we hiked the incredible Quiraing- it was raining but we had waterproofs so we comfortably trekked. We were SO impressed by the scenery of this place. Top place of beauty in the world! So glad we didn’t have to navigate the roads ourselves. John also knows a ton of history and highland culture. We absolutely loved this tour and I’ve already recommended it to friends and family. This tour is awesome! Thank you!!!

This was truly a magical day. John picked my mom and I up at our hotel in Inverness and took us out to Skye for the day. He shared all sorts of stories and was able to figure us out and make suggestions that he thought might work for us. He noticed that we were a little joke-y and joined right in on the gentle teasing. We were able to make up our minds about where to stop and how long to stay at each place. The Isle of Skye is so special and I am so glad we chose to go with John. We had originally planned to make the drive ourselves but after doing a couple of day trips from Inverness, we decided that me not driving would make the day much more enjoyable. He brought us up a road that I never would have made it up and showed exceptional parking skill. If you are looking for a long day full of fun, a little magic and a relaxing drive, book this trip!
