My tour exceeded my expectations! Managing Director, Stephen Liddell, anticipated every detail to make my tour thorough, engaging, well planned and personable. It was a delight spending time with him on our long drive to Walsingham, as he is so knowledgeable and witty and a great conversationalist. A great storyteller! The time flew. His guidance on navigating public transportation was very foresighted and added to a seamless trip to meet him at our designated rendezvous point. He was caring and shared my reverence of the holy site I visited. He ensured I fully got to partake in the events of the Shrine. He knew the Mass times, managed our time carefully and with great respect. He surprised me with a stop for some local treats and supplied refreshing water on our drive. He really thought of every detail to make it the most pleasant tour! I would contact Stephen again and again for future tours in England! The tour was like spending time with an old friend! Highly recommend!

Wonderful cathedral and historic place, easy to arrive and thanks to the car park nearby, worth surely a visit in this beautiful city.

I recently booked and went on the Peterborough tour .. I was met by Stephen and was taken around the most amazing historical places , my favourite had to be Peterborough cathedral .. As a huge Tudor and Henry VIII fan I was overwhelmed to visit the resting place of Henry VIII’s first wife Catherine of Aragon .. Such a fabulous tour , Stephen is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his history .. the most enjoyable day thank you x

A fun day. Lots of walking and seeing bits of a city I have been to many times. Good for the whole family. Some of clues a bit harder on a Sunday!

I booked the Pilgrimage to Walsingham for my mother as the highlight of her trip to the UK and we couldn't be happier! Ye Olde England Tours customised the trip for her with very short notice as we decided to come to England in November 2017 instead of Feb 2018. The pilgrimage was perfectly balanced with a well chosen itinerary to suit her interests. Communication between us was excellent and we knew before we started we'd chosen the best people to plan and organise our day. We were thrilled with the entire day. It couldn't have been better planned or executed. We strongly recommend Ye Olde England Tours for well planned and interesting days out. They certainly get you to see everything you want to see and then add special treats you hadn't even thought of. If I'd known how good they were I would have booked far more of their trips. They made my mother's dream pilgrimage come true and they gave me a great day out too. Very very happy. If you are looking to do something that is off the tourist tracks give these guys a call and watch them build your dream trip. You will not regret it. We certainly haven't.

Came to Peterborough with friends and visited the Cathedral. ENTRY IS FREE but in lieu can leave a donation in the box provided on your way out. Steeped in history and if you walk to the back section of the church this is an addition to the original building...took our breath away. The ceilings, architecture is amazing. The inner peace felt was awesome. So worth a visit
