As a group of Explorer Scouts on summer camp, we had a 2 hour group surf lesson. The coaches were very knowledgable and, in spite of the lack of surf, we had a great session and lots of fun. We would highly recommend Fistral surf School.

Absolutely brilliant experience. My 15yo daughter's first surf lesson. Group was wonderful. Teacher (Beau) was absolutely lovely, kind, clear, encouraging and excellent teaching. My daughter was on her feet within 30mins! Also nice touch having the photographer (Kevin) there and being able to choose photos online.

Fantastic experience from the off, safety brief. Giant paddle board for 7 people, jumping off rocks, bit of a tour, swimming in dark caves, even the seal made an appearance, dropped a few challenges in aswell. Cheers James had a great time

Friendly and helpful staff, I was on my own but felt welcome and included. Had 2 lessons with Nora, she is a great teacher and gave me confidence. The surf school is in a great location, with great view of the beach. I hope to return to do some more lessons when I can.

Very informative and interesting tour of Padstow. John made it an enjoyable and relaxed experience. Extra bonus of meeting lots of locals whom John introduced en route.

Having lived in Cornwall all my life it was quite a surprise to find myself heading for my first surf lesson at 40 something (thank you best friend). Our instructor E was patient, friendly and encouraging without being too pushy. His instructions were clear and well thought out and before we knew it we were in the water, quite feisty water at that! We had a lovely morning with E and can highly recommend him.I can't comment on value for money as ot was a present but I should think money well spent

We had the most incredible time giant paddle boarding today with James, and honestly, we couldn’t recommend him enough! 🤩James was fantastic from start to finish — his knowledge, friendliness and genuine personality made the whole experience so enjoyable. You can really tell how passionate he is about what he does, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time.And as if the paddle boarding wasn’t enough, we were lucky enough to see seals along the coastline! 🦭🌊 Such an unforgettable experience and definitely one we’ll be talking about for a long time!A huge thank you to James for making our day so special. You’re an absolute credit to what you do!

Fantastic activity, unfortunately I was not made aware that you need to wear enclosed footwear.Luckily they provide some for you.

Archie was great! Learned some valuable surfing tips and he was a great laugh too!

It was great, I'm afraid of heights but the staff were great, friendly re assured me everything would be fine, it was a great experience.

Finn was amazing , he was so fun and we had a great time. Would highly recommend Finn for the paddle boarding experience

We had a great time learning to surf! Joe was a great instructor and very patient! Will definitely be coming back
