Naples Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Very cool! We got to see things that we would’ve never known to look for and heard some great stories! The group was a little big but the guide spoke loudly and had a great personality.

Really impressive guide, Imma,who was an archeologist. This is a must see when visiting Naples. Tour operator with bus was hard to find as our ship wasn't docked close by so we had to power walk for 20 minutes to get to the meeting point. Not impressed with this so if booking off of a cruise, make sure you check Google maps before leaving the ship

Martina is a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. She takes the time to explain things and make sure that everyone is ok and enjoying the tour. Angelo is amazing at navigating the windy road to Amalfi. You need nerves of steel for that drive and he certainly has them. I would highly recommend this tour for all who want to experience Sorrento, Positino and Amalfi. Thank you once again Martina and Angelo for a wonderful day!

We took a bus from the cruise terminal to Pompeii. We had a little difficulty finding the meeting spot and thankfully the tour operator waited for us. We were taken by bus to Pompeii which was about 40 minutes. The tour itself was 2&1/2 hours. Our tour guide was excellent. I cannot recall her name but she was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. We asked her to recommend an authentic pizzeria in Naples and we found it without any difficulty and it was the best Margarita pizza we have ever had. For the excursion in Pompeii I would recommend good walking shoes and a bottle for water. There were free fountains inside the ruins to refill water bottle. I would recommend this tour.

Air Canada Vacations booked this tour for us and made us arrive at 7:10AM, one hour earlier than our actual meet time! But our tour guide arrived not long after us and introduced himself as Gabriel Casavega. He had no idea why ACV told us to arrive so early, but he was nevertheless glad that everyone was there on time. In any case, Gabriel was a real character and definitely not your typical tour guide. He made sure we knew he was a "celebrity" of sorts with CONNECTIONS! But he also made sure he got to know all the 17 people in his group by name because it's all about CONNECTIONS. Not only was he very extroverted and personable, he was also very efficient at communicating. He told us how to board the ferry to Capri so we would be first to board and first to disembark. Once at Anacapri, he was able to help us jump the long queue for the Monte Solaro chair lift. I admit I was slightly uncomfortable with this, but what the hell, I was on holiday and I had a hoot. At the end of the day, Gabriel made our trip to Capri a memorable one.

This was great! The three stops were fairly far from our cruise port, so it was nice to have a driver. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, the stops were beautiful, and the boat option is absolutely worth it. We had a whole new perspective of the Amalfi coast from the boat.

The tour organization by Gabriel Casavega was an incredible experience, as he encouraged the group to stick to the meeting times with humor and wit so that we were always the first at the respective sightseeing highlights. His humor and temperament also brought a lot of fun to the group, and the information was comprehensive and not neglected. His insider tips on Capri were also very helpful. The tour was very good. Highly recommended. It was a lot to see in one day. There towns were very busy. The boat ride was beautiful.

Dario is a guy with gentle manners and eyes, polite, smiling, excellent experience!!! Stay away from the shady individuals who operate in the same area; Dario's boat and t-shirt feature "Naplseatour"

Geppi our guide was excellent, a tremendous host! He taught us a little about the history of Naples and most importantly, its typical foods. We started with the margherita pizza, continued with a Tarallo Salato and then went to Sfogliate, where we tried the crispy Sfogliatelli with ricotta. 100% recommended service! Geppi was very attentive to everything we needed and kept us hydrated on a 35-degree day. We would highly recommend the experience!

Great couple hours spent wandering around Naples. Lorenz was a great guide and had some interesting facts to share with us. I enjoyed all the food. I would recommend this tour.
