Montreal Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was happy to answer any questions and had a great depth of knowledge.

It's a reasonable walk around the Old Port Montreal full of fun stories and spooky tails! Alice was a great guide! My guess is it doesn't matter who is leading the tour it will be amazing!

We had a wonderful time, learning so much about the history of Montreal and its port from our fantastic captain and our tour guide Mary Lou. There was beer and wine to choose from onboard as well. Highly recommend!

Alice did a fantastic job of getting her guests in a spooky mood. She told the stories of the city with great enthusiasm and conviction and immersed herself into her character while painting the pictures of old Montreal and some of the more unfortunate things that have happened there.

Emmanuel was a terrific guide for the tour of Old Town Montreal. He really knew his history and gave excellent explanations about the architecture. He made the tour fun as well as informative. His pacing was good for the group and he addressed all questions knowledgeably. The two hours went by quickly. Emmanuel also stayed after the tour to provide directions and recommendations.

This tour was well blended between the traditional Jewish foods and the immigration of the Jews to Montreal. The samplings were amazing and the stories about each morsel were quite interesting. The tour guide was excellent.

Our guide was absolutely amazing! Sadly, I don't remember his name, but he was a young teacher :) We learned so much about Montreal, heard fascinating stories, and saw hidden gems. The guide engaged with everyone, asked about their stories, and built a personal connection. It was an unforgettable tour of the city and its highlights

Busy. No bathroom on the tour Weather was great. West good walking shoes. Tour was in English from a French person

Get there early! We showed up a half hour early and we got a decent seat but to get the best outdoor upper level seats you need to get there closer to 45 minutes early. We were competing with cruise ship Travelers which probably was a contributing factor.

The tour was extremely informative and enjoyable! Debbie was our guide and she was fantastic. After the tour had ended, she assisted us with locating our boat excursion. Would highly recommend.

The tour could not have been any better. Chris was wonderful. We had taken a food tour a couple days before with a different company and there was just no comparison. This is the company to use.
