Missouri Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We had significant time between the flights of our group that was meeting in KC, so my wife found this trip to kill some time and gain some knowledge. TBH, my excitement level was low since I was pretty ignorant about the city's history. Not any more. Kyle our guide was very knowledgeable about the city, it's history, and brought to life many of the historic figures and stories which formed the bedrock of today's Kansas City. 5⭐ Tour. We'll worth the time and money.

We had a few hours in Kansas City and THE Outlaws and Legends tour exceeded our expectations. Kyle was a great tour guide who brought the city to life through his stories around the history and famous people. He was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed learning more about Kansas City . I highly recommend Kansas City Tours and especially Kyle for a great tour experience.

Completely worth the time and money! Our operator Carla was delightful, knowledgeable and entertaining! We learned so much about the "City OF Fountains" and it's very colorful history, and would completely recommend this to anyone visiting Kansas City that would like to know more about the history and culture behind it. Five enthusiastic thumbs up, LOL

Such a fun place no matter what age you are! Come one and all and be entertained!. So many discoveries and some that will make you laugh and some will make you dizzy.

it was fun!! only thing is the price i felt didnt match the length of time inside, especially with young kids who have short attention spans lol. but overall the experience was fun and enjoyable

Great overview of Kansas City history, and current happenings! The guide was a native, had a vast amount of knowledge.

It was a great way to see the city in a short amount of time. The driver was knowledgeable and funny.

We showed up last minute and Kyle was more than accommodating! We had a great time, did the one hour steam room and had a lot of fun! A group of 5 and it was the perfect amount! Room was fun- hard but not to hard- and well maintained!

The overall trolley experience was really well done. There are restrooms available at the start and finish. The trolley driver was very informative and shared great information about the city of St. Louis. We truly enjoyed the city park experience as well. It was well worth the money. Great way to see the city for the first time and I highly recommend it.

Great guides and lots of lines. Best to do it if temperatures are under 90° so you can go on all 12 lines. Over 90° and it is cut down to 8. The scenery is beautiful and the lines are fun and fast.

Had a very relaxing float up and down the Mississippi River learning about the history of what industries flourished along the river. The view of the Arch for pictures were great!

Great walk and story telling. Super interesting! Stories related to the neighborhood and you would not think to look them up.

Our tour guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about the history & had a lot of fun with our tour group. History of this place is very heavy so be mentally prepared but it was very spooky! 10/10 would recommend
