Mexico City Travel Guides (Updated October 2026)

Sara was so great and very knowledgeable. We went to 3 different spots and had 5 tacos (plus one bonus from a kind chef). Great experience and Sara definitely deserves much praise.

Sara was great. All locations had really great tacos, beverages and mezcal experience was also really good. Very full after 5 tacos. Nice small group. Also the crickets you need to try. Would recommend!

This was truly one of the best nights ever! Barry and Steph created such an amazing space for everyone to get to know one another, laugh, learn, and have soooo much fun! The energy of the night is something I will never forget. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mexico City!!

We began in the Trotsky home with the super knowledgeable Hector as our guide. His enthusiasm and energy were wonderful. We are history enthusiasts. Hector answered all of our questions brilliantly whether directly about Trotsky or something else. Then we visited La Casa Azul with Arturo who was just as enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Two amazing guides who complimented each other and made our visit to these two homes and to CDMX great. The contrast between the two homes is wonderful and on our walk from one to another we stopped at a cafe for a fresh juice.Book this tour and visit these spots with the background that makes them come alive.

What a fantastic time! The guides took us to tacos and beer at 2 venues before walking to the event. Was impressed with their ability to articulate to us what to do and when. The event was fun, I was never a big “wrestling” fan but they made it the best time ever! I’d 100% do it again!

Awesome experience with Vive Vuela, pick up was easy and the flight was perfect

An amazing morning spent hot air ballooning! Felt very safe with the great team.

This was such an incredible tour! Ricardo was such a knowledgeable guide, and gave us a great tour with all the best highlights of Mexico City. I really loved the thorough history lesson that Ricardo gave. He told us all about Mexico City from its very beginning, before the Aztecs built the Tenochtitlan empire, through the revolutions and wars, to the beautiful and historic place it is today. The castle was gorgeous, turned into a museum. Ricardo showed us the best artifacts and highlights. Then we took a lovely walk through the huge forest park, with some information about its history and beauty. Of course there were snacks and a couple nice breaks along the way; and we ended at the Anthropology museum. Once again, Ricardo guided us through a thorough history of the native peoples who once lived in the area, and how their influence and culture spread throughout Central America. Overall, really really excellent tour. Ricardo, if you’re reading this, you need to ask for tips at the end of your tour! You definitely went above and beyond. Worth every penny and more! Thank you a thousand times! Will be back!

Jesus our guide was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, full of energy and gave us a tour that touched on important history.. We loved our experience. and highly recommend it.

Romi was great at explaining the history and cultural significance of Frida Kahlo. We purposefully didn’t read up on anything so we could learn about her through the tour. Thanks Romi for a memorable experience

Rosa’s tour was exceptional! She is so knowledgeable! We learned so much about the history of Mexico. This particular tour was great because it was private. There were so many other tours with 20+ people. I would 10/10 recommend Rosa!

I had a fantastic time learning all about Mexico City and its history with Guillermo! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Transportation and breakfast is included and I wouldn't have learned half the information on my own. Definitely recommend!

long ride in the car, but worth it. The tiered pools were nice, but the cave and waterfall were amazing! Also spend some time at the river less crowded. Driver was accommodating and friendly.

I had an amazing time during this excursion yesterday. In addition to an excellent group of people on the tour, our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our questions. I highly recommend!!! FYI…Don’t slip out on the restaurant in the museum, the food was a 20/10

Great tour with Roberto. Learned a lot of information on Mexican history. Visited Chapultepec Castle and Anthropology Museum,

Cinco Estrellas para Desi! We had a great time, learned and drank a lot! Games, food, history, and drinks a perfect combo!
