Menton Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Victor makes the tour extraordinary. His knowledge of the history of Menton, as well as the background of each site, turns the tour into a fascinating history lesson and enhances the appreciation of each artifact. He communicates very easily and encourages questions which he answers effortlessly. I can’t say enough good things about his level of professionalism. We’ve been on Rick Steves and Tauck tours with excellent “local” guides, and Victor tops them all.

We had a great time on this food tour with Georges ! He was very kind and the food was excellent. The city of Menton is not one to miss when in the Côte de Azure and this was the perfect way to experience the city.

Patricia was a superb host, extremely knowledgable and great company. The value for money was superb - we enjoyed a wide variety of different wines and learnt about how to recognise fruit and spice flavours as well as how to pair each wine with specific cheeses, some of which totally transformed the flavours. There was enough complimentary food to ensure that it was a well-balanced experience and we were able to fully enjoy all of the different wines. Highly recommend, highlight of our stay so far. Patricia was an amazing guide! My mom and I ended up getting a private tour which was wonderful. She was very informative of both Menton and wines. It was a special way to explore Menton. Would highly recommend!

Cyril was one of the best guides we have ever had in a city. Super knowledgeable, full of energy and willing to go above and beyond for his clients. Knows the history, understands the culture as a political science junkie and knows the good restaurants and shops as well.

We had the most wonderful day touring with Mago. He knew so much about the history of the area and had access to some of the most exclusive places. Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed our day. We saw more and learned more than I ever expected. I would definitely book other trips with Mago and recommend you do so as well.

Laurie took some of the best family photos we’ve ever had. She was so friendly, we all got very comfortable. She suggested poses - essential for us non influencers…lol. While the package includes 20 photos, we upgraded to get them all because it was impossible to choose..they were all fantastic. Menton is a stunning old town with yellow ochre toned architecture, green shutters and a stunning basilica. I recommend wearing vibrant colors that pop against that backdrop. We went to both a bakery and restaurant Laurie suggested and her local advice absolutely hit it out of the ballpark
