An ADVENTURE!
This event was a hoot! I knew it would be fun but it was so much more! The interaction with the visitors as well as locals was incredible! The stories we heard, observations we made and the things we learned!🌱

Fun and refreshing
My friend Sue and I participated in a Creative Soul Scavenger Hunt yesterday, August 17, at the beautiful Siletz Bay in Lincoln City, Oregon. What a worthwhile experience! The clues were challenging, fun and comfort level stretching. We met and visited with more people than I can count who helped us complete our clue list. I think they were having as much fun with the clues as we were!! It was a 5 star ++++ experience. Will do it again anytime any place.

Coastal Oregan Tour.
We booked this tour as a shore excursion from a Pacific Northwest Cruise. This was a great way to see a lot of points of interest in a very short time and we didn't have to deal with the typical cruise ship tour crowds! Thank you for a great experience.

Unique coastal introduction
Unique experience that introduces you to area in a creative way. The "hunt" focuses on local lore, history, nature and your surroundings. You will surely learn something new! It's really up to you what you make of it. We had fun with it and met friendly folks from all over. It's a great way to get to know the area in a more conscious way than just getting out of the car and walking on the beach.

Experiencing nature in a fun way
What an adventure and a very different and meaningful way of experiencing the natural environment in Scottsdale! Tara's Scavenger Hunt helps participants to utilize their creative sides, interact with other travelers and locals, and enhance awareness of the beautiful nature on the hunt. I conducted the Hunt on my own, but Tara was always there to help guide, support and share the experience with me. By the end, Tara felt like a longtime friend. I enjoyed Lost Dog Trail in a very different way, and felt like I really accomplished something as well. Highly recommended, and thanks Tara!!

A Must
This is the rare sort of tour where the level of personalization and insider knowledge demands someone who has the Oregon coast in their bloodline. Charlie Royster *is* that guide. We spent six hours with him and the warm and friendly Lisa, learning more about the unique flora of the coast and ht ehistory of the area. Charlie makes you feel like family, pointing out locations and adding local stories that makes the area vividly come alive. He took us to Drift Creek Falls, and had packed water and snacks. He showed us Munson Creek Falls, took us along the Three Capes Scenic Route, pointed out hidden gems such as the sitka spruce Octopus tree and only-locals-know secret beaches and got us back in one piece with our imagination aflame. Highly recommend and hope to see him again next time we're back!

Spectacular Oregon Coast!
Charlie gave us a tour of things that only locals know about - starting with a van ride on the sand to checking out "Sand Lake," Octopus Tree, secret path to spectacular coastal view, not to mention Jacobsen Salt Factory, fresh oysters at the warehouse, Tillamook Cheese Factory, and more! Cannot recommend Charlie more highly for a truly special Oregon experience!

Stunning Guided Hike with Local Expert!
I had an amazing time on my hike with Tara. It was a beautiful beginning to my solo hiking trip. Tara called the day before and asked me a few questions as well as made adjustments for weather, etc. Tara was very tailored to my situation and my desire for what I wanted to get out of the time. She took me on a beautiful hike and pointed out several local species of plants (which I’m super into). This was perfect for me to do on the beginning of my solo hiking trip because it helped me formulate the rest of the week. I really enjoyed her company, she’s well educated on trails and the area in general. She also helped me with restaurant recommendations, area descriptions, etc. highly recommended!!!

Fun on the lost dog wash trail in Scottsdale!
I have always wanted to do one of the Creative Soul Scavenger Hunts and was really happy to find out there was a brand new one in my own backyard! The Lost Dog trail is a perfect place for a nature adventure and the creative missions Tara provides makes exploring a beautiful place even more fun. The desert is in all its glory right now with tons of yellow and purple wildflowers and everything is green and lush. I loved that there was super easy and free parking, no crowds and I could pick my trail( wasnt feeling too energized so went for easy) Even though I live nearby I learned a lot on the hunt and got great photos and videos. Luckily though, Shep my dog, was NOT lost on the trail! I am really glad it was a dog friendly trail.

Scavenger Hunt Makes the Lost Dog Wash Trail 10 times as fun even no dog!
This wasnt our first scavenger hunt with Tara but the first on a hiking trail. It was a fun and a different way to explore the desert and our two kids were engaged far more than on a normal hike. The desert was green and filled with life and we saw all kinds of cacti and learned a lot about the life cycles of the giant saguaro. Tara customized our hunt because we only had late afternoon/sunset to do the hunt.
Tips - wear good walking shoes. bring water, charge your cell phones in advance and bring your creative A game. Play full on and dinner will taste even better that night!

Transformative creative experience
This was such a wonderful and rejuvinating experience. We started the tour with each getting a chance to talk some about our current aspirations and then the tour built on this. Set in an amazingly beautiful landscape, Tara guided us through trails as well as guiding us through emersive experiences such as putting our feet in the beautiful oak creek to symbolize cleansing ourselves before going onto the next part of our self exploration, and walking across a bridge to symbolize moving through all barriers to our ambitions, and then being instructed to do a silent walk to process all that we had done. All the while we would each get to share what we felt each step of the way. By the time we were done, I felt so good and had such a great connection with the other people on the tour. I felt very happy and optimistic about the future, which is sometimes tough to feel in these times. I was very impressed with Tara's ability to help me achieve this. Thank you Tara!

Fun activity!
I did the Rio Grande version of the wandering artist and it a lot of fun! Also a unique way to experience nature. It really helped spark my imagination and connect me to the area. Tara was wonderful. Her communication helped me feel comfortable and ready for adventure. I would definitely recommend!

Beauty and Magic
Gorgeous surroundings, interesting exercises,cameraderie,encourage creativity that unfolds almost effortlessly. Collaborative portions and solo contemplation left me refreshed and inspired. Tara is charming and fun and has obviously built this perfectly timed experience for both comfort and stimulation. Very enjoyable!
