I'm so glad I came across Mandy's website and booked a tour with her. Shetland is a remarkable place, and this was the best way to see it, especially if you're short on time. Mandy gave me a private tour of the island, and she's so easy to talk to that I felt like I'd known her for years. She's incredibly knowledgeable about the area and answered every question I had. Highlights included spotting Shetland ponies, enjoying fish and chips, and taking tons of photos of the stunning landscapes. Highly recommend a tour with Mandy if you're in the area!

We had an absolutely brilliant time on the island. Harry, our Tour Guide was so knowledgeable so funny so passionate about his home and so willing to make our trip the best it could possibly be. He is a Gem! Puffins had just left the island and only one was seen in flight. but Harry made sure we saw Shetland ponies and visited with locals and saw seals Nordic, ancient structures and beautiful landscape all along with his informative discussions and comedic interactions with our entire group. Love those ponies!
It was a wonderful tour and we highly recommend it ! The tour guide was very thorough and we learned a lot about the island and its history. The only part that was a little disappointing was that we only got to see two puffins.

What an awesome day with Tom! Don't sleep on this excursion. By the end of the day, I felt like we were friends. We saw so many beautiful places. We'll come back to see the northern half of shetland and we'll ask for Tom. I only wish I hadn't forgotten to take a pic with Tom. Next time!!!

Fantastic Local Guide — Perfect for Cruise Passengers!
We had a fantastic experience on this tour, and Dave was an outstanding guide. He is a retired math teacher who has lived in Shetland for 45 years, and his local knowledge and perspective really added something special to the day. Dave was incredibly accommodating with our cruise ship schedule, especially as our tender times changed. He adjusted everything around the ship’s timing and still got us back to the tender with plenty of time to spare, so we never felt rushed or worried about making it back onboard. The weather wasn’t the best, but we certainly didn’t let that stop us. The Shetland ponies were adorable, and we really enjoyed learning about the history of the islands, particularly Shetland’s fascinating role during WWII. Dave’s stories, sense of humor, and interaction with our kids made the experience even better. This felt much more personal than a typical large-group cruise excursion, and having someone with so much local knowledge made a huge difference. We would 100% recommend this tour and Dave, especially to families and anyone visiting Shetland on a cruise!

it’s hard to know where to begin. Mandy provides the personal touch well worth the cost. She 100% exceeded expectations. After traveling all night on the ferry, Mandy came and picked us up at the ferry helped us get our luggage to our hotel and even had made reservations for breakfast. After being revived, the adventure began. She came up with some different ideas beyond what we had originally booked, personalizing our tour specifically for my father, who was interested in Shetland neolithic and archaeology. After driving us around the island and pointing out many areas of interest(including, but not limited to precious Shetland ponies) we went on a ferry across to Moussa to see the. Broch. Mandy understood the history pointed out all the relative interest and walk the islands with us. She added a personality to Shetland for us to be part of… seeing her Shetland through her eyes we came away understanding Shetland is so much more than Scotland. Shetland has a history link to the Vikings and Nortic culture. We loved it and would 100% make it 200% recommend this tour.

Great tour with Mandy!!
Mandy was an excellent tour guide, so passionate about her home, the Shetland Islands, and its history. The island is beautiful and Mandy took us on the scenic drive to see the Cliffs, and along the way, we had the added treat of watching the sheepdogs work the sheep. She picked a great spot for lunch with the local foods. Mandy was very articulate and knowledgeable. She made our tour one of the best ever! We were also very lucky to have great weather.

Our family had an amazing tour with a professional and informative guide, Danny, who shared much knowledge along the way. In addition to the wonderful green countryside, we got to admire the spectacular Eshaness Cliffs in real windy conditions as well! We also got a tour of Lerwick with recommendation for pubs and restaurants for our stay. All inn all a really positive experience!

The sweets on offer: Biscoff Rocky Road, ultimate teaser, white honeycomb and caramel crispy (I had a piece of caramel crispy) ohhh my goodness it tasted amazing. I wanted to have a piece of all of them, they looked so good. There was a no nonsense very pleasant dark haired lady serving. The coffees were lovely too.
