It was a very pleasant time, with some unique insights into the history of a great city. The guide was very knowledgeable and polite.

Highly recommend this tour for nature and animal lovers. PJ is local to the area and provided some great background on the polders. He even brought a light breakfast to enjoy on our walk. Broekdijkmolen and the children's farm (which is surprisingly large, basically a zoo) were highlights.

PJ was a fantastic guide for our day trip to The Hague. He made the whole experience feel really bespoke and had clearly taken the time to prepare in advance around what we wanted to see and do.He was particularly understanding of the children’s needs and was very flexible and easy-going throughout the day, which made such a difference for us as a family. He planned a great mix of sights and experiences without making the day feel rushed or overly structured.PJ was knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely pleasant company. We felt that the day had been planned specifically for us rather than following a standard tour itinerary. We had a delightful day with PJ in Leiden. He was enthusiastic about showing off his hometown and extremely knowledgeable about its history, geography and culture, including favorite son Rembrandt. He came prepared with snacks and beverages, a really welcome treat on a hot July afternoon. As this was an accessible tour, we especially appreciated his sensitivity and concern for the member of our party in a wheelchair. He was punctual meeting us at the central train station and helping us navigate through the crowd there and reach accessible spaces throughout the city. We had an excellent morning with our guide, PJ, exploring the highlights of Rotterdam. Some interesting places included the cube houses, shopping areas, Marketplace, harbor, churches- ending with a fun harbor cruise. It was the perfect balance of walking and sightseeing, and ending with the harbor cruise was great!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. Well worth it, and the teacher was amazing. Leiden is also an amazing city to spend the day in, and it is very easy to get their by train from Amsterdam, just a short 30 minutes.

Linda did that and much more as I was also introduced to Delph, a short train ride from Leiden, the city with historical significance and famous for its Blue Delph ceramics. After the tour was over, I spent the rest of the afternoon exploring Delph on my own.A super bonus was we had spectacular weather. Not too hot or cold.I would highly recommend this tour and Linda!

Elena is a FABULOUS guide! She knew everything about Leiden, and had some great historical documents that really help us understand the roots of the city. Highly recommend her! A 90-minute tour is also the perfect amount of time to explore historic Leiden.

A visit to Leiden, a city dating to the Middle Ages, is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in Dutch Golden-Age art (Rembrandt and Jan Lievens, a contemporary, were born here) or history of the Low-Countries during Sixteenth-Seventeenth Centuries (e.g., Eighty Years’ War of a nascent Dutch Republic against Hapsburg Spain). The eponymous university is the oldest in the (current) Netherlands. Guide (Mr. Jip) for this solo walking-tour was excellent, with impressive knowledge-base for period noted (Low-Countries, 16-17th Centuries) and history in general. The town itself is picturesque (situated along branch of the Rhine), including university area (apparently in-session during my visit; very nice local eatery serving good coffee and excellent, Dutch-style apple pie) and periphery (holds largely-intact Medieval defensive structure). Short train-ride from Amsterdam. Strongly recommended.

My husband booked this as a suprise for me, and I couldn't be happier. We had a great time and I really feel like I got to experience the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny which also made for an overall great experience.

A great tour for the whole family, where the children can guess well. Just the right level for primary school children and older together with the parents you can do it great. We had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Rembrandt and saw a lot.

It was a nice experience to discover the city of Leiden in this way. Nice route and good puzzles. We had some problems starting up, but we were able to easily connect with the company and it was resolved immediately.We are going to walk the route in Alkmaar in the coming months and we hope that one day they will make a route in Antwerp. That's how you get somewhere:-)

Fun and the treasure hunt takes you past places you wouldn't go. Lovely to explore the city. Especially nice that there is no time limit so you have tasendoor time for lunch / terrace / ice cream

First time we did something like that and it went down really well. Our children aged 13 and 11 were able to participate in most of the puzzles and got to know Rembrandt in a fun way through the story. We as parents read the extra info about Rembrandt and liked the puzzles too. A nice route through Leiden, not too long and puzzles of great level. Recommended, even if you go without children.

Great walk in the park with a knowledgeable guide. Enjoyable easy pace well worth the time an effort. It was money and time well spent.
