We wanted to break up our 10 day stay in Ksamil and this seemed a fun option. We were treated warmly by our host who presented what was going to happen and frankly he made us feel so comfortable. We then met our tutor who didn’t speak any English and the host was there to translate. What fun! We were treated to a glass of wine.. we are cooking after all and me and my wife had our cook off.. I cooked the nettle version and my with the tomato.. the tutor took no prisoners, Well apart from she actually complimented me on my pastry.. you know what, it was great fun and a privilege to have the opportunity to be in their kitchen being taught by their head cook.. we loved it! PS the nettle one was better than the tomatoe!Either we missed it in the description or we underestimated our capacity, but we ate a small lunch before we came.. don’t do that, come on an empty belly!

Great tour - visited 4 places. The monastery was first, guide was knowledgeable, the amount of time there was good. Second stop - Blue Eye - beautiful. 50 Lek admission not included in the price. You can walk to the attraction or pay to take a train (300 leks each way). I recommend the train - you will do a lot of walking later on plus it is very hot. You can also go by e-bike (not sure of the cost). You can kayak there, do a long hike but no swimming. I found the amount of time there too short for kayaking and too long for just viewing it. Next stop - Gjirokaster. We had 2.5 hours there but would have like more time. Big climb up the hill, then 76 steps to get to the castle but worth it. Admission 500 lek. Beautiful castle and views. After, stroll the streets and have a nice traditional meal. We did not have time to see the mosque and would have loved more time in Gjirokaster. Final stop Lekursi Castle which is now a restaurant with amazing views. It is a short stop which is all you need. Finish, back at your meeting point. We had a great driver (tricky driving conditions) and an excellent guide (best one so far). Really recommend. Excellent pace.

Guide was very friendly. Enough time to explore the beautiful environment. The Blue Eye could be reached by a touristic train (tickets not included in the price) or on foot (short hike on a well paved path, hilly terrain). Sturdy shoes preferred if you want to view the Blue Eye from a higher vantage point, which I would recommend. No swimming allowed.

This feels like a very authentic experience. We enjoyed learning about mussel farming from the captain. We got to debeard a bucket of mussels on the boat ride. I was hoping we’d get to help cook the mussels so we could learn a bit about cooking techniques but the restaurant prepares them and brings out the mussels. The meal was excellent. The ride back at sunset was lovely and relaxing. The starting and ending point is a close walk to the fun beach area in Ksamil.

We had a great experience: we visited Lekuresi castle, blue eye and Gjirokastër. Our guide, Erald, gave us interesting information about history and current situation in Albania. We had enough of free time. Be careful at Blue eye though: they charged us 400 LEK for 1 scoop of ice.

Although the host tried changing the initial booked time, he made it up for it by providing a private sunset tour. Overall, the experience was magnificent, you get to see and understand how mussels are grown from start to fisnish and then get to taste mussels in 3 different ways near an old fishermen house on a beautiful beach. The food and the white wine was delicious and we absolutely devoured it. The host and the captain are friendly, smart and ready to help. Also, you can see in their eyes that they absolutely love what they do. I highly recommend to visit, it's a once in a lifetime experience.

SUP was one of the activities we were most looking forward to as we always try to paddleboard whenever we travel somewhere with beautiful water and this experience did not disappoint.A huge thank you to our guide who was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to change our booking from the previous day because I wasn’t feeling well.The route was beautiful, paddling from the shores of Ksamil out towards the Twin Islands with time to take some breathtaking sunset photos before heading back.The water, scenery and atmosphere were incredible and it was such a peaceful way to finish the day. Genuinely one of the experiences that made our trip.If you’re visiting Ksamil, especially around sunset, this is an absolute must!

Great tour, views of the mountains, amazing water and beautiful and peaceful town. It is great to enter the cold refreshing waters of the Blue Eye, but note, current is very strong and swim is forbidden for a reason. Stay safe and maybe only enter for a short walk where water is very shallow in the permitted area. Blue colour water could be way more deeper and more “sparkling” than you think. I look forward to see these landscapes again !!!

it is a mini excursion of 20 mins in total. They drop you off on a twin island with little space to put your towel and you can stay there as long as you want. It is ideal for spending the day sunbathing far from the beach clubs

Lovely people and really good fun preparing Lakror. We were made very welcome, sampled other local delicacies and enjoyed the product of our efforts.

The driver was very punctual; he took the time to show us and share a lot of things along the way about Albania and its history. Despite the heavy rainstorm, he did not shorten the excursion and continued to bring a lot of good cheer. Listening to our needs. I highly recommend it. We would have liked to exchange more with him, but our English is minimal, haha.
