Kotor Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Really fun couple of hours. We were only a small group on the speedboat and Mark was very informative about the places we stopped at. A real treat was each being given a container of sliced fruit at the end of the tour! Would definitely recommend

This was an awesome adventure with our captain Luca and 9 of us all over 60. He gave us history, a long fun boat ride with music to the blue water cave where we swam for a while then rode over to another area to swim some more. He was extremely accommodating to us all. Highly recommend tour!

Our excursion with Tohomir Kosic (he said we could call him Evan), from Tiho and Sons was spectacular. Our group was just with four people (rather than a large group where you catch every other word). Evan knew every bit of impressive history, was kindly greeted like the mayor, as he appeared to know everyone in town. He gave us exactly what we were looking for, not too much, not too little. The Old Town tour and history was fascinating. The Our Lady of the Rock tour was stunning, as there’s no way to prepare for what you see once entering the church. Evan’s connections, allowed us to easily park right at the pier, with easy in / out. Beyond Evan’s relationships, he was able to share his own personal experiences throughout his and his family’s time in Montenegro, which we found invaluable. This tour ranked at the top of all tours we took on our cruise. Very well done!

The blue cave was so cool to see and swim in! It's a bit of a ride to get out to it, so the only downside is that you only get 20 minutes to swim and there are lots of other boats/people at the cave, but still worth seeing... the water is SO BLUE! It's amazing!

Fantastic day, great guide and lovely boat. Did all the essentials with a good pace (enough time without waiting around). Unfortunately there were a lot of other people in the cave when we went in but that can’t be helped in peak season. The swim was tough to and from the boat so you need to be reasonably confident in the water - that said it is so salty stopping and floating is an option. In my opinion a must do in Kotor and a great company to go with!

We had a wonderful 1/2 day trip with Franjo . He was knowledgeable about the vast history of the area . Stops swimming at the Blue Cave and the hidden cave were highlights . Nice lunch at the island of Lopud . Would highly recommend this trip

We had Michaël as the German-speaking guide of the Tuk Tuk. The tour was great. My wife walks with a rollator and taking her was no problem at all. Michaël's explanation and humor made the experience fantastic. Keep going. We highly recommend the Tuk Tuk tour.

What impressed us most was the local knowledge. Darko knew the area very well and gave us interesting information during our tour. It was more like we were exploring Kotor with someone who really knew the place than just driving from point A to point B. Great views.

This tour was amazing! The thing that made it so amazing was our tour guide , Nicola! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any and every question. The town of Kotor is amazing and the cable car ride was top notch!

We had a fantastic day with Natasa and Ilija, sailing the Montenegro coast. They took us to an unspoiled and not busy swimming spot before cooking very tasty grilled fish and salad, even teaching my wife how to fillet the fish after being cooked. They were able to accommodate for allergens as well (gluten free) which I very much appreciated. They're clearly both skilled sailors and I loved being on the water with them.

We had a fantastic time using Tuk-Tuk Montenegro Waves and it is one of the best ways to get around the beautiful area of Kotor. Our driver Darko was friendly, professional and made the whole trip comfortable, fun and memorable.The Tuk Tuk Panorama Tour was a fantastic way to get a different view of Kotor. So we could chill out and enjoy the ride, rather than just wandering the city." Excellent guide. Tour could not have been better. We were accommodated in every way and learned more about Montenegro than we could have hoped for.

A fantastic experience. Wonderful views, exciting downhill cycle and superb host. Our guide Armandiux made this experience for us. she gave us all the time in the world and even created a personal video for us with the camera on his drone. He was determined to make the experience happy and memorable for us. He succeeded!
