Kerala 2026 Calendar of Events

Our guide Mari was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We appreciated the bonus bottled water, snacks, and all the tea. My family are very interested in plants, animals and birds, and were pleased that our guide knew the name of every specimen we came across. One of our group has difficulty walking long distances, but the tour was adjusted to suit. I found the tea making process interesting, overall good experience.

We had a wonderful tour of the tea plantation and the Tea Factory. Our guide was fantastic – he explained everything clearly, showed us around, and made the whole experience really interesting and enjoyable.I definitely recommend this tour to everyone! And if you go, make sure to ask for a guide named Mari – he is the best! 😊Thank you, Mari, for a great experience!

We had a very great tour wit driver Samad. The tour was awesome. I recommend everyone to book the Tuk Tuk tour halve day or full day. Greetings from The Netherlands. Krish & Saskia

Samy was a very good guide. He explained us everythig about the plantation and other spices. The trekking was not difficolt but complete. I advice this trek

Thouseef collected us from the hotel and showed us the main sights of Kochi on our food tour. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. The food was great too!

Thouseef was fantastic and took us to many places to try a variety of local Indian food (in Kochi). He was very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. Would recommend

The BEST way to experience Fort Kochi!Omg, Nava made our sightseeing day in Fort Kochi so memorable and authentic! He was incredibly friendly, patient and took the time to explain the history and culture behind everything we saw. What made it even more special was that he went out of his way to take us to the Jain Temple, which was such a meaningful moment for me. 🙏🏼❤️Nava also showed us places we would have completely missed on our own — including the traditional dhobi! Watching the clothes being ironed with those huge traditional irons heated by coconut shells was incredible. Honestly, no modern steam iron can compete! And the bonus? A super comfortable tuk tuk, an amazing local guide AND he takes fantastic photos! If you want to see the real, authentic Fort Kochi beyond the usual tourist spots, we highly recommend Nava!Thank you so much, Nava, for making our day so special. With love, Hema & Harj

I went on this hike with my sister and really enjoyed it. Even though it was a bit rainy and foggy, the views of the mountains and tea plantations were incredible. Samy is a very knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly guide, and even drove us back to our hotel afterwards. There was also a hotel pickup at the start (for an extra fee), and Samy brought some delicious tea and snacks for on top of one of the mountains during the 8.2 km hike. I would recommend to wear shoes with good grip, and long trousers and socks as you will be walking through some vegetation and muddy trails during rainy season.

Ali shared his vast experience of fort kochi. We will recommend Ali for any guided tours

Cool Destinations has put together an all encompassing itinerary! Biju Tours is an exemplary operator and the Guide Thomson made it a joyous and satisfying experience in the deadly heat of Kerala summer! The guide displayed deep knowledge of history of Fort Kochi Kerala and India at large! He enjoyed his role and went above and beyond in making it a memorable trip! Kudos to his willingness to give me a lift on an E-Scooter for the longer stretches of the tour and escape the rigour of the Kerala summer.Suffice it to say that narration of historical and cultural aspects were class apart! The tour has left me with a vivid image of Fort Kochi under the Portuguese,Dutch and the British colonizers. It was indeed a deeply satisfying heritage and I would commend Biju Tours and Mr.Thomson for the experience.

It was really wonderful. The houseboat was beautiful. Lunch was absolutely delicious. It was interesting to see how people lived next to the water.

Asad was a great guide, he showed us and explain all points we visited in the city. We recommend this tour and Asad in particular

Our tour with Mari was fantastic. He met us at the ticket office and we walked for 90 minutes around the tea plantation. He was extremely informative and had superb English. He was very knowledgeable about tea and botany. Next he drove us to the Lockhart factory and showed us the tea process in much detail- then some tea tasting. The whole experience was amazing and we highly recommend using Mari as your top guide. Thank you again Gabrielle and Julian Mace from Uk.

The tour overall was really good. The organisation was amazing from this company. They updated us about times and meeting point well in advance of the tour. They also messaged after the tour to offer advice on other things to do in Munnar as well. Our guide Mani was amazing. We had a lovely trek and we learnt so much about Munnar. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Even though Mani has probably done this tour many times, his enthusiasm and excitement was infectious!

I did the food tour with guide Thouseef. He was excellent. Wide variety of food and drinks that I never would have found without him.

Thia food tour is a must do if visiting Kochi! Our guide, Thouseef, was excellent and took us to places that we wouldn't usually have visited. The food & drink was delicious!Thank you
