Magical Bronte tour.
If your a Bronte fan this tour is a must do! Gillian was a wealth of knowledge on the Bronte family and Sandra was an exceptional driver as we toured many Bronte related sights in Yorkshire. A magical day where the Bronte family truly came alive for is. Thank you ladies for such a memorable day.

We had a wonderful time...
We had a wonderful time with Gillian and Sandra. They were very friendly and knowledgable, and clearly experts of their field. The tour was amazing and we would recommend it to everyone coming to Lake District.

An excellent highly informative memorable trip
I took this tour on the 15th August with my wife and daughter. The tour was excellent with full value of money as it’s was a very comprehensive and absorbing trip which very well enriched by the information provided by Gillian as a guide. Sandra is a very skilled driver who could negotiate through the narrow mountain roads without giving us any moment of anxiety and keeping us very comfortable all along. Gillian’s knowledge and description of almost every space of the Lake District is amazing. Will cherish its memories.

Informative and fun
Jillian and Tom gave us the best Brontë tour ever. Each stop was personalized as Lisa talked us through all the sites. While on the
van, she told us stories and answered all questions, which personalized the whole trip. I enjoyed the whole experience and learned far more than I ever thought I would. As an English professor, I found the trip to be exemplary. Thank you!

Would recommend this tour and the scenery
Never realised that the filmimg locations were so close to the Lake Districts and it was fantastic to see such places as Mrs Pumfreys house and the hidden part of Darrowby. Would recommend this tour just for the scenery but the locations make it something special. Thanks.

Great tour of All Creatures filming areas
Great tour, although they canceled our tour date without telling us. I only discovered they had canceled our tour when I called in. We had to reschedule for a day later, which caused a large amount of expense and hassle with our accommodations and London train ticket. The tour was great once we were able to go on it.

Brilliant day out
Group from Maynes Holidays booked 3 minibuses for this tour and got to say it was the highlight of there week. Minibuses were smart & comfortable, views were exceptional , all 3 drivers Mark , Lisa & Toni were brilliant , very friendly & helpful nothing was a problem. Would highly recommend this trip.

Great day out
Mark and Tony gave us a great day out sharing their in-depth knowledge in the commentary.
The narrow, steep, twisting Wrynose and Hardknott Passes were expertly negotiated by Mark on our way to Muncaster Castle. Here we were served a delicious lunch, followed by a Birds of Prey display and self-guided tour of the castle.
Many thanks to Mark and Tony who were helpful and courteous throughout our very enjoyable trip.

Good value for money
Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Tim, the friendly and funny driver/guide, kept the mood congenial and relaxed during the 8+ hour trip in a slightly cramped 8-seater van. Having an experienced driver who knew the different routes in the area was very helpful as we got stuck in traffic due to an accident near Ambleside, forcing us to take an alternate route. The lakes and the views from the hills and the boat ride were superb. We got a lot of time to wander around and take photos. Would definitely recommend the trip, which although looks a bit pricey compared to other trips is full value for money.

It was a great day out! Gillian and Sandra were wonderful…very knowledgeable and gave us loads of background information on Beatrix Potter, Wordsworth, history of the Lake District, geology…it was well worth doing!

We had an amazing time with our guide Steve who drove us across many breathtaking sites and points of view. His stories about the Lake District were fascinating. It is the perfect opportunity to discover this wonderful environment without the challenges of driving.

Outstanding way of seeing highlights of the Lake District
Exceptional day out. Our guide Stef was outstanding, with real depth of local knowledge, excellent careful driving. He went above and beyond to ensure that everyone on the trip had a really memorable and enjoyable day out in this beautiful countryside. I would recommend Mountain Goat wholeheartedly, and especially Stef. Though I am sure all their guides are really good.
