Greenville Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Walter was amazing and did an incredible job with the Greenville city tour. Not only is he a native, but he’s also passionate about his city and sharing the history. He was also very knowledgeable, friendly and positive!

We had such a pleasant and informative time on our tour, our guide was willing to tailor our tour to our interests (history, things to do, art etc) He was most accommodating and enjoyable to be with.

Guide Walter is courteous and knowledgeable about Downtown Greenville and the surrounding neighborhoods. His car is clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our private tour. Good restaurant advice too. Highly recommended!

Walter knows this town inside & out. Very thorough history and descriptions of everything related to food in Greenville. He truly cares about helping the local businesses succeed. We were pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and friendliness of the shop keepers at Byrd’s Cookies and River Street Sweets. Very unique to see the tunnels. The wagyu burger and short rib tacos were an amazing finale. This trip is a must, and incredible value!

We had a great time on this tour and ate plenty of food. So many different foods & samples to eat while also seeing downtown Greenville.

Our guide, Walter, was incredibly knowledgeable and kept us thoroughly entertained throughout the entire tour. He clearly knows his subject matter inside and out and is a very considerate host. He did a fantastic job tailoring the experience to our specific interests; as locals from Spartanburg, we already knew some of the history, but he still managed to teach us so much we hadn't heard before. We were celebrating a friends 70th birthday with this tour. Faye was delightful! She shared so much interesting Greenville history with an obvious love for the subject matter. Each restaurant we visited welcomed us with delicious food and drinks. We had a wonderful time.

Great bike tour! Our guide was so sweet! She was Well organized and always let pedestrians know we were coming behind them! Very pleasant and informative too about the area!

We had a great time! The bikes were in excellent condition and very comfortable. The icing on the cake was the Sena helmets with built-in communication, which allowed us to talk with everyone in our group throughout the tour. The food was great, and this was such a fun way to explore Greenville and Travelers Rest while getting acquainted with the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Highly recommend!
