Our guide Silvia was truly wonderful. She had everything planned and timed perfectly. She was more than happy to answer any questions we had about anything. She really made our stay amazing. Plus we had plenty of food and drink - a great value!!

We had a small group and it was easy to hear our guide with the audio phone provided. Our guide was knowledgeable about the city and it was very helpful to understand the culture and historical aspects of what we were seeing. Santiago de Compostela is a beautiful city and the tour really helps to understand what you are seeing. The walking was easy with a few hills and stairs.

This was a great trip around A Coruna, seeing some of the major sights without having a lot of time in port as part of our cruise. It was nice to be able to stop for a short time to get pictures at the Tower of Hercules. Our driver was friendly and fun. Would love to return and explore more.

The Rias Baixas tour is a good alternative to the Finesterre tour.You get to see beachside cities, ones you dont pass by on the camino.The wine tour is very informative, and you get to have a wine tasting too.The boatcruise offers unlimited mussels and wine, including drinks! Highly suggest to do this one too

We chose a 1 hour tour and wish we had extended it for st least 30 minutes. Francisco was fun and eagerly took photos of us and talked about the sites. We booked on Cool Destinations and the meeting point was not accurate. My ticket stated. To meet in the Cruise port. It was not allowable for the driver to enter that area. Cool Destinations needs to correct the error as it created confusion and we were late to start our tour once Francisco found us.

Anna did an excellent job. Her English was good and she had excellent knowledge of the city. She was also was very sweet, helpful and welcoming. Great job!

I would highly recommend this tour in English. Miriam was a fantastic guide who brought the history of Santiago de Compostela to life. I did the tour with my family and we all enjoyed it very much.

Our excursion was great. Directions for pick up at cruise port were easy to follow. Bus ride there was filled with interesting commentary. Bonus that I missed in the description is that the walking tour would be in small groups which was great. The tour covered quite a bit plus we’re had some free time to enjoy the church and town on our own. We would definitely book with Shore Excursions again.

Used this tour on the 4th of July 2026 when we had a port day from our ship, it was such an enjoyable trip and we got to see so much of this absolutely beautiful city with it being 2 hours, our guide was a Cuban man who was so friendly, knowledgeable and just an all around lovely human being, we had stops at all the tourist sites and so much more, as it was a chilly morning so he offered he my wife a blanket(she would complain it’s too cold even if I took her on holiday to planet Mercury) the afternoon wasn’t chilly though as it reached 32 degrees that day but our guide gave us bottled water during the trip which was appreciated. Can’t recommend this highly enough especially as I use a stick now due to having a stroke in my early 40’s.You will absolutely love this tour it is so worth every penny.

Our guide was Natasha. We were picked up from right outside of port at 11 am. For some reason Cool Destinations showed us it was at 9am but in messages they told us to meet them at 10:45am. At first guide told us that this tour included bus ride with guide where they will tell you about the places and then give you 3 hrs of free time in the city by yourself. And return to the port. But none of us were comfortable being by ourselves. Then she said she is going to take a walk to some place where there is best view of cathedral so we all told her we would like to follow her to that park, it was nice picture spot. Then we came back to cathedral and she showed us queue where u get to hug apostle and line was not too bad. We saw crypt too. Then she told us to go eat and buy souvenirs which we did and walked back to bus station. Meeting point was little confusing so we decided to just walk to the bus station instead. Tip: if u wanna do something from La coruna port between 9am to 11am until ur Santiago tour starts you can walk to tower of Hercules. The view from there is spectacular.
