Fort Collins Colorado is set against the Rocky Mountain Front Range 65 miles north of Denver. The city was founded around the site of an 1865 U.S. Army fort that protected the Overland Trail, and the Old Town historic district is adjacent to the former fort area. Fort Collins is a college town with lively food, shopping, and entertainment scenes as well as breweries, distilleries, and two local wineries. And with the Cache Le Poudre River on the eastern edge of town, Horsetooth Reservoir and Horsetooth Mountain Open Space to the west, an urban whitewater park, many hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, and easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park, Fort Collins is an outdoor sports mecca.

I loved the stories of old Fort Collins. The ghost stories were the icing on the cake. Maybe old photos of Fort Collins to help us visualize what life was like back then.

I was doing a solo trip to Fort Collins and wanted to try rock climbing. Xiao here was super passionate and knowledgeable about the activity. She provided all the gear and traveling tips, I absolutely enjoyed the wonderful half day with her on the cliff! Highly recommended!

Tricia was great! We met at a central location and walked to 5 different places. The tour was organized and relaxed. Tricia provided interesting information about the buildings and history of Fort Collins. Food and drinks were great! Fun experience!

A very fun experience going into the basements of historical buildings. This tour was a great combination of history and ghost stories. The chances to explore old basements and use EMF meters added a lot! We had a great time and will definitely be competing back!

We really enjoyed this tour and our guide Shane was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the town and how alcohol played its part in that history. The drinks and locations were excellent as well. I’d definitely recommend this tour!

We went on this tour with our adult kids and their partners. It was excellent, from the beverages to the history of wine and spirits and Fort Collins. We plan on taking all of our out of town visitors on this tour. Our guide, Shane, had an answer for all of our questions. I highly recommend this tour and the ghost tours!!

Yes this was a great time for me and my 19 year old son. We enjoyed going and finding our answers. What a wonderful time spent with my son. My son wants to bring his friends this next summer to play the scavenger hunt game. Great way to get out and explore the city.
