Great tour with awesome stops and a laid back guide

It was absolutely wonderful! We learned a lot about Fort Collins history which was quite fascinating. The 5 restaurants picked for the tour were really interesting and the staff were all so welcoming.

I go on many food tours and Tricia gives one of the best I have seen and tasted. She offered food choices to please all of us. We especially appreciated that at each stop Tricia had arranged for the owner or manager to come out personally and tell us about their business. Fascinating stories and very inspiring. We are new to Fort Collins and this tour was a great into to a great city. Would do it again and highly recommend you take this tour!

Lots of history and dark old basements. Prisoner morgue was creepy. Everyone gets an EMF sensor and time to explore.

Our guide was amazing and so learned. We enjoyed our experience and got a great history lesson.

We had a great time! The food was good, the people were fun and we enjoyed ourselves. The mystery was more difficult to solve than I expected, but when it was revealed, it all came together. I like that real cases are used.

I went to many places in old town ft. COLLINS, my favorite place was PINBALL JONES a bar & arcade, $5.00 Monday from 12 p.m.- 12 a.m.

Joe’s legit! He educates you as you see a beautiful are not seen by many visitors. It’s about a 15 minute drive tha is breathtaking on its own. Can’t say enough great things about this hike and Joe.

I highly recommend this e-bike tour through Ft Collins. Our guide was knowledgeable and catered the ride to our needs. Requires very little effort and is a quick way to view Old Town and surroundings.

Good fun time. You get a lot of history and good ghost stories too. Good beer as well. The host is very fun and entertaining.

I was skeptical at first but thoroughly enjoyed this event. The actors and hostess did an amazing job!

We had a wonderful hike with Joe. He was very knowledgeable about the area and an excellent guide. We were from out of town and he provided everything we needed - water, snacks and walking sticks.

My wife and I have made several Traces of the Past history tours with out of town friends and family. Mark is incredibly knowledgeable of history, particularly local history. He relates first hand accounts of historical milestones from books and other documents, as well as local legends that can't be verified, yet are quite feasible. Mark brings us right to the locations around Fort Collins where he points out different buildings that are still standing, and shows maps, diagrams, and pictures of artifacts that are no longer standing. His depth of research, and his knack for story telling bring local history to life, while you begin to feel like you're actually in that time and place. We've all learned so much about the local area, and it's vital historical implications of the settlement of the great American west. Mark's various history tours should not be missed. We can't wait until we attend another tour. For us, attending Mark's tours with out of town friends kills two birds with one stone, having an interesting tour for out of town friends and family, as well as building our breadth and depth of the local area and it's amazing history.

Wear comfortable shoes and sun screen. The maps helped provide locational references relevant to the experience.
