Captain Marie and Anna were fantastic. So many dolphins on the way! No whales today…it depends on luck as yesterday they saw 10 of them. For whom gets motion sick, the zodiac excursion is the best you can take! I never ever felt sick!

The best time we've ever had. Maybe the 6th time with the company and we ran into a frenzied feeding area with thousands of dolphins, dozens of sea lions , hundreds of birds and at least 10 whales! An unforgettable day with Captain Gary who was also very informative.

What an epic experience!! From making the reservation to checking in and hopping aboard.. everyone staff member was so friendly and helpful. Captains Chuck and Will were so much fun and you can tell they’re passionate about what they do!! We saw a ton of beautiful dolphins, sea lions and of course multiple whales! I highly recommend using this company.. they’re kind and excited to find these beautiful creatures! They’re also adamant about making sure they’re safe around them. Not to mention, they end every tour with delicious brownies!

This is our second tour with Captain Dave’s group. Our first trip in 2016 found us in the middle of a dolphin roundup. This time, we saw 3 different species of dolphins in 4 pods. So highly satisfying to have them under the net where you are standing, hearing them blow as they come up to breathe. Loved it all and will be back!!!

Fun sunset 🌅 boat ride with wine tasting and cheeses. Everyone was so welcoming! Great music playing as well. Very peaceful and fun! Highly recommend it.

Tandem electric bike with throttle is the way to go with all the hills around San Clemente. Danny was gracious and flexible.

This day I was celebrating my birthday and they played some relaxing and more dancing type music, We started dancing and other couples joined us. We had a ball. I would do it again and will recommend to my friends and family

Our guide was A.J.. He was a local, and was very knowledgeable about the mission, its history and its importance to California. He also gave us interesting information about San Juan Capistrano, and even some wonderful tips on things to do around town. I would definately recommend. Thanks A.J. :)

Place is not on the popular side, not on the boat side. It's on the rocks side. Better go there in the morning, otherwise waves tides will make you hard to walk on the rocks road, easy get wet to your shoes and pants. But it's worthy to see the cave.

I absolutely loved this experience with my family and friends! Especially, going around the Harbor and avoiding traffic and parking. My 6 year old daughter is now convincing to get our own!We took the scenic trail (which is everywhere in Dana Point) and stopped at Wind and Sea for cocktails and appetizers and rode back with storage area in the bikes to keep the food from flying away.Riding back which was uphill felt super easy and did not have to peddle at all. Super smooth and powerful enough to carry myself after some delicious food.Family was comfortable riding on the cushion seats and felt safe and secure the whole time.We can’t wait to book our next rental and soon be able to purchase our own Pedego bikes!Thanks again Danny for all the guidance! We had a blast!

Excellent experience! We saw 3 whales and a few pods of dolphins. Will was phenomenal, interactive and enthusiastic. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely go again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to go whale and dolphin watching with Off the Grid. We had the extraordinary opportunity to go out on a private tour. The boat was special, it was very safe but smaller than the large big company boats, giving us the chance to get a close look at the 50+ dolphins that came to play and swim alongside the boat. While William positioned us as best possible to see wildlife, we didn't see whales (that is a matter of fate), we saw many dolphins, birds, and a sea lion! The Captain is professional, knowledgable, and an overall very likeable person to spend time with out on the water. He even suggested we move up our reservation time to earlier in the day based on the weather - which turned out to be fantastic for us. I'd highly recommend this unique opportunity to get out on the Pacific and see what's there. When we return, we'll be going out with Off the Grid.
