Excellent experience hosted by Eric who gave a considerable amount of insight into this unique Cognac house.. with its Norwegian heritage! We saw the very special distillery in detail and the aging barrels with a good display of the yearly loss to the ‘angle share’. All in all a very informative tour and very well conducted. Finally we certainly had a bespoke tasting session which certainly sold this cognac house to me and my wife!

Another year ,another exceptional tour. I have been on the Braastad tour a number of times with various friends . It continues to be the best tour of a cognac distillery. Erik is a star, interesting, enthusiastic and full of knowledge of the history of this cognac. All my friends come away with positive and enjoyable thoughts. Excellent visit, between history and gastronomy. The site is very nice, authentic and full of memories. It looks like Francois 1er spirit is still in the Castle. The visit of the caves and cognac barrels is authentic. The scent of cognac is everywhere. The tasting is also a very nice experience in a very fancy room. We can feel some marketing but no pressure to buy anything. A very nice experience overall!

We had a wonderful visit. Paul was an outstanding guide with a really good ability to describe the manufacture of the products and explanation of their history. After a really good tour we went on to taste their delicious products. Even now Paul taught us more about their outstanding gins. Very enjoyable and we thoroughly recommend you should go.

We set off to roam the roads of the island of Oléron aboard a wonderful red convertible 2CV! We take the time to stroll at the pace of this impeccably restored retro vehicle! I really recommend this vehicle rental: very smooth, professional, and quality service! To be repeated!

Excellent way to see Cognac, interesting information. We especially liked the timed questions where the longer you took the less points you won. A great couple of hours!

5 of us, friends and family plus 14yr old. What a great tour of cognac.. not been before and wanted an introduction to the town and that's exactly what we got.. good fun, took around 2- 3 hours including food Clues weren't bad managed to find most of them. Educational and found some great restaurants along the way.. would defo recommend and worth the 20ish pound we paid. definitely would do it again in another city

Picnic on a pretty table set under the walnut trees in a quiet and green setting. We were with our 20 month old grandson who was able to enjoy the environment safely. The meal was excellent with local produce and homes. We were very well received and had a real relaxing time. The shop allowed us to bring back good products. We will return to it.

What a pleasure to have a picnic without having to prepare anything; to taste local products made by the Walnut or other local craftsmen and all out of the sun under the walnut trees. The icing on the cake the chocolate and nut brownie extremely light. The tasting that follows the visit is a pleasure for the taste buds , as for nuts and uax oils they are .....no I don't tell you ....go there to form your own opinion

Our group of four were met at the Angoulême station and we spent the day with JeanLuc.He has extensive knowledge of the region,the viticulture of the vines ,the production of Congac and the marketing.We toured in his comfortable vehicle and visited various Congac wineries and an artisan Vinegar cellar that produces excellent vinegars from the grape crushing residue.We lunched in a small village restaurant and he returned us to Congac to our accommodation.We highly recommend his tours.

Rebecca shared the enthusiasm her family has for producing unique products and experiences. The family is committed to honor the past while exploring products that are outside the box. We learned about the process, the soil, and the history. We were able to taste all of their products as each was explained with passion. To our delight a few nights later we found two of the items were available at our hotel bar. The experience is worth the lovely drive to the small village of Tarsac.
