Welcome to Cincinnati

Cincinnati Ohio was settled in 1788 on the Ohio River where it forms the border with Kentucky to the south. After the Revolutionary War, Cincinnati became America’s first major inland city then boomed with 19th century Erie Canal and Ohio river trade. With Over-the-Rhine, one of America’s largest, most intact urban historic districts, Findlay Market, Ohio’s oldest continuously operated public market, many modern craft breweries and the 19th century breweries and underground cellars where some of America’s best brews were once produced, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, a busy downtown arts and food scene, and many parks, Cincinnati offers a lot to see and do.
