Brilliant, informative tour. The guide is very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. A great way to gain aome insight into Carcassonne in World War 2, highly recommend.

The tour was excellent from beginning to end. Paul was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject . He brought the content to life with the use of visual aids. He adapted the tour to ensure my mum who had fallen a few days before was still able to participate. I would highly recommend

What a fantastic afternoon! Lovely setting for wine tasting. We opted for the 9 different wines with the charcuterie board. Had a discount code which made it exceptional value for money.The lady explaining the wines was very good at explaining the different choices - 3 white, 3 rose and 3 red. We spent a good 2 hours sitting outside on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Highly recommend this to anyone thinking about booking this experience.

Unfortunately weather topped 39 on the day we booked the trip . Diego the organiser did try us to move to another date but we couldn’t accommodate. The bikes aren’t electric they need some leg power on hills,so it was quite a challenge. I wouldn’t book if you don’t have a basic level of fitness also the engine is tiny so if you’re carrying any extra weight it will be tough . We did enjoy the experience and Diego was a passionate guide and was very knowledgeable re wine. The wine tour is actually a shop owned by a vineyard. The nibbles are just olives and breadsticks so being concerned about spoiling your dinner won’t be a problem . We soon got the hang of the bikes and despite the weather enjoyed the experience

I can highly recommend this local wine collective. Excellent regionally produced wines, very good value, in a beautiful setting. We chose the 9 wine course (a choice of 3 whites, roses, reds) with an accompanying charcuterie which was excellent value at €30. Our host (Anna) was hospitable, knowledgeable and is fluent in English (helpful as my French is poor!).

Amazing and very interesting historic monument. I really enjoyed the castle and walking round the battlements, well worth it. Wear walking footwear.

Lydia was a ln exceptionally knowledgeable guide and very smart and an efficient with our 1st walkthrough of Carcassone. Highly recommend her !

Met tour guide right outside the main entrance. He contacted us using WhatsApp and easily shared his location with us so we had no difficulty meeting up. Once within Carcasonne, we were given a personal and 1:1 tour experience. Seeing how everyone around us was walking around we were very happy to have an expert guide. He even took us to new Carcasonne which typical tourists dont see on their own. Would recommend!

We went to eat at L'IMPARFAIT in Gruissan, I highly recommend it to you, the meal was very good and the other customers around us were pleasantly happy (everything homemade), hearty and very good, a friendly welcome and a view, look!!! Thank you

We didn't use a guide, but rather researched first and looked after ourselves. What an amazing place. We walked up to the back entrance and into the small streets. There are plenty of places to eat, have a coffee or shops to be a tourist in.This castle has a large church inside thew walls as well as the keep area.

Gert is a outstanding guide. He has extensive knowledge of the Cite and it’s history. Very knowledgible of the the local Area. An extremely pleasent personality. There is no walking the Rampart (Castle Walls) with this tour. Don’t worry about that as the tour around the Cite at base level is very educational. You can do it later for 19 Euros. Gert also walked us across a historical bridge to the other city center. We were so glad we went there too. If not for Gert and going there, we would have just stayed in the Medievel Cite area. Just be prepared to do some walking both up and down some inclines. I highly recommend this Tour.

Very nice walk. The accompanying tests make the city come alive. The different locations are easy to find with the attached map and texts.

Had fun exploring the city and found some nice places what I wouldn't encounter otherwise. The statue at the first stop was missing though, however the riddle wasn't hard to solve. :)

Great walking tour of the historic medieval town of Carcassonne. Great way to burn off calories from the wonderful dinner of the previous evening. Wear supportive walking shoes.

After some hesitation, we chose to take this "excursion". Do not hesitate… it is interesting and fascinating. The commentary explains the history of the city well. It is also a good walking exercise. Security is ever-present and reassuring.

Would highly recommend this tour if visiting Carcassonne. Diego gave really clear instructions on how to ride these vintage Solex and took us for a test drive before exiting the town and exploring country lanes through the wine fields circling the medieval city and castle. Great views and beautiful scenery. We went on a day the vineyards were closed but this didn’t matter as Diego took us to an excellent 1790s building and wine shop. Fabulous wines tasted then back to base. We all had so much fun we’d happily have gone again if we’d had the time.
