Great way to explore other cities
Was switched to the Antwerp/Ghent/Bruges tour and it was wonderful. Had Jaris as a tour guide and you could clearly see his passion for history. He made the tour informative and fun and gave us ample time to explore each city. Highly recommend his tours!

Bruges and Ghent Day Trip from BrusselsDon_S, Sep 2026
Best way to see both cities
Antonio was a great guide from Brussels to both cities. We chose the self guided tour because we wanted more free time to walk and explore on our own. We were able to use the recommended tour sites with explanations and understand both cities.

Informative and fun!
Our guide, Tiago, sure made us feel special. He was so interesting and had great historical stories about the city and the buildings in Brussels. He recommended restaurants and the perfect place to stop for “Brussels fries”. Beer samples at the end of the tour were generous, and chocolate paring sublime. We really enjoyed our tour.

Martin King of tours!!!
We had an unbelievable time! Our Emmy award winning author and guide,Martin King, was a walking encyclopedia of WW2 history. His insight and personal anecdotes sprinkled with humor was fantastic. We already purchased one of his books from Amazon and hope to e-mail him to stay in touch. Started with a guide and felt like we left as friends. He is even a Buckeye fan:). We have been on many tours and his was the best. Don’t miss this when in Brussels. Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend
Overall had a great experience with Buendia, made even better by our awesome guides Peter and Blanca. On my particular tour day, the tour buses were divided by language which was done at the meeting point. Peter and Blanca both spoke fantastic English, were very clear, and well organized. Everyone was clearly interested in giving the best experience. I enjoyed the free time and didn’t feel too rushed to enjoy. I don’t regret doing the tour that includes both cities and I opted for the boat in Ghent as well which was a nice break for my feet. Highly recommend

Excellent history & sights
The very enthusiastic & friendly Martin King provided so much history. He really gave a great picture of the events leading up to, during and after the Battle of Bastogne.
The sights we saw were excellent, especially the museum & the woods/foxholes.

Great Waffle Making Experience
I booked this experience as my husband and I did a similar experience in Bruges and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ended up being the only people in attendance so we had a private class with Ingrid which was fantastic! Ingrid went through all the history of each beer we tried and gave us information on which will work best in our waffles. We then went through the waffle making process which was very chilled and fun and i loved receiving the recipe so I can create it at home. Ingrid also gave us some valuable information on landmarks and areas we should visit during our stay to avoid hitting all the tourist traps and that was a very personable approach. Overall it was a great and fun experience and I would do it again!

Awesome way to see the city
A bike tour is the perfect way to see Brussels, since the interesting parts can be far apart from each other. The tour starts at Grand Palace with a little bit of history & then the biking portion is 3.15h with 1h of actual riding for a total of 9km & 127m elevation gain. There is only one part where it gets very steep, but there is an option to use the lift there, so it shouldn’t be a bother. There was also a 30 minute break near a food market/pubs which was very nice.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable & we covered almost everything to see in Brussels like the EU buildings, palaces, etc.

Fun and informative ride
Very pleasant and informative tour. Not too difficult. A few inclines but manageable. Nice to get out of the city centre to see other important landmarks. Our guide Gabriel was very nice and had very accurate and up to date information about the city.

A great way to see Brussels
Thomas was an excellent tour guide, and we really enjoyed our bike tour. Brussels is such a beautiful city and Thomas showed us the must-see spots as well as some hidden gems, while taking us through some of the city’s bike-friendly streets. He was cheerful, knowledgeable, and made it easy to see Brussels at a relaxed pace. Would highly recommend.
