Brussels 2026 Calendar of Events

We had a lot of fun at the friet museum. They tell you all about the origin of the potato, and fries. They have games (solo, and multiplayer) and, when you have had the whole tour, you get to taste the fries yourself! They have a cute little store at the exit. A lot of fun when you are visiting brussels

Martin King was our very knowledgeable guide and on the bus ride to Bastogne gave us a concise and interesting account of the battle. We all learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in history. We visited the American cemetery, the foxholes used by Easy Company, and General MacAuliffe's headquarters, along with the Bastogne War Museum. This was a one day trip and we covered so much ground and information that it was well worth it. I'm sure that you can take a more expensive or longer tour, but if you only have a day, I highly recommend this one and that you get Martin King as your guide for the day.

A wonderful opportunity to learn about the Battle of the Bulge - both the museum and the American Cemetery were highlights. On our tour we had Martin King, a historian and author of books on the Battle of the Bulge, as our guide - he was tremendous!

A very informative tour of the history, people and architecture with time to explore the local food and specialties of both towns. Our guide Peter was outstanding! Knowledgeable, personable and a shared list of personal recommendations.

Excellent and very informative walking tour through the most interesting sights and monuments of Bruges Martin was amising and very funny; he made this tour memorable.

The museum experience was both educational and interesting. Not what we expected. Much better. Mary the demonstrator was so fun. Can you say WOW!

Was switched to the Antwerp/Ghent/Bruges tour and it was wonderful. Had Jaris as a tour guide and you could clearly see his passion for history. He made the tour informative and fun and gave us ample time to explore each city. Highly recommend his tours!

Antonio was a great guide from Brussels to both cities. We chose the self guided tour because we wanted more free time to walk and explore on our own. We were able to use the recommended tour sites with explanations and understand both cities.

Our guide, Tiago, sure made us feel special. He was so interesting and had great historical stories about the city and the buildings in Brussels. He recommended restaurants and the perfect place to stop for “Brussels fries”. Beer samples at the end of the tour were generous, and chocolate paring sublime. We really enjoyed our tour.

Beautiful experience, especially for children; the aid of electronic devices for translation and listening to the recorded voice, stop by stop, was very appreciated by my son (3 years old); you discover basically everything about the history of the potato and its evolution. In the end, the gift of a paper cone with freshly prepared french fries made the visit unforgettable for the children.

Antonio was a lot of fun and kept the tours interesting and enjoyable. A lot of free time in both cities.

Diego was our guide and he was excellent, very Knowledgeable and accomodating with a great sense of humour. The tour pointed out lots of historical interest and sites plus a lot of recommendations and facts about Belgian beer and chocolate.

I booked this experience as my husband and I did a similar experience in Bruges and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ended up being the only people in attendance so we had a private class with Ingrid which was fantastic! Ingrid went through all the history of each beer we tried and gave us information on which will work best in our waffles. We then went through the waffle making process which was very chilled and fun and i loved receiving the recipe so I can create it at home. Ingrid also gave us some valuable information on landmarks and areas we should visit during our stay to avoid hitting all the tourist traps and that was a very personable approach. Overall it was a great and fun experience and I would do it again!

OMG!! How FUN!!! Francesiwer (sorry I know I'm spelling it wrong) What a hoot our Host was. The group we had was absolutely amazing!! Our host was VERY interactive, Funny, and teased us along the way!! By far the best thing we did while in Brussels!!
