Brighton Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

Loved this aquarium! I booked for opening time which I would highly recommend- was quiet to see all the exhibits. By the time we left it was heaving. Everything was well signed and labelled. We attended the feeding of the turtles and the commentary by Alex was excellent. And she answered some questions I had afterwards. Staff were also good at making sure children were not standing in the view of others (something some entitled parents didn't seem to care about) Bought some gorgeous jewellery in the shop on the way out. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

Been visiting Brighton for years and finally made it to the Pavillion. Such an interesting story behind the building. Would highly recommend getting the audio guide as it brought each room to life.

What a great experience! I’m not a huge fan of heights so was nervous but the movement of the pod is gentle and the atmosphere inside is very soothing! Great to be able to have a drink and space to wander round at your own pace taking in the awesome views!

This experience was beyond any expectation! The art and design contained in the Pavilion is mind blowing. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting London as it is a short hour away in Brighton which is also lovely.

Great views at the top and appreciated the history of Brighton explanations from one of the staff on the pod. You can see right over to the white cliffs of Dover on the left and isle of wight to the right

Really great tour, takes about an hour in total and goes around all the tourist spots, and outside of the beach town too. Really good way to find your bearings and identify all the spots you want to visit. Easy to find bus stops.

This trip made my day, week, year.... I've wanted to fly in a gyrocopter since probably seeing Little Nellie in that bond film , You Only Live Twice. I can't recommend Lloyd (the pilot) enough- informative, friendly and chatty. Will be looking to book again soon as well worth the price. This is definitely a bucket list trip. Myself, wife and daughter had a lovely visit to Brighton Sealife yesterday. As the oldest aquarium it is well worth a visit. The building is stunning, absolotely amazing architecture, the staff are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and the variety of sea life there is amazing. Yes it is smaller than the other Sealife centres but it is the oldest and a listed building. Once inside the accessibility for a wheelchair user is excellent, the disabled toilets included. The only criticism and this is intended to be constructive and perhaps is more the responsibility of the local council rather than Sealife, there could be better signage towards the step free access to enter the site. There are a couple of signs but they are quite hard to spot. The directions at the front of the centre do help though. All in all a brilliant Sealife Centre and well worth visiting.

Michelle was a phenomenal driver. With such elevated hills in the beautiful city of Brighton, there was no way to see the beautiful sights save on the hop-on hop-off. Her driving was smooth throughout! Special shout out to her!Luke was such friendly sort of fellow, with a demeanour that makes one WANT to buy the double decker! Absolutely brilliant experience. Bought this as a gift for our Dad's 80th birthday. We had initial contact with Lloyd the pilot when booking and the day before the flight. Lloyd was brilliant and definitely felt we were in safe hands. Dad got a good hour in the sky so great value for money. The airport has a great cafe on site with an outdoor seating area overlooking the runways so fabulous views of dad taking off and landing. Lloyd even sent us some aerial photos of Dad. Brilliant day, thank you Lloyd!

We really enjoyed our visit here. The staff were so friendly and gave us a great introduction to this beautiful house. It was a rare treat to be able to visit both upstairs and downstairs in a Manor House! We also made use of the free audio guide which was informative. The cafe was really nice with a great selection of homemade sweet and savoury snack. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Brighton!

This was an awesome and comprehensive, yet laid back tour. Our guide, Colin, was pleasant and well-informed. We saw and did so much but never felt hurried. Lots of comfort stops along the way. We would definitely recommend this!
