Bangor Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

We've been coming to n.wales for many years but still haven't seen much of Angelsey and this was a perfect way to conjole 2 competitive teens ( and a competitive mum) into exploring the island and visiting all sorts of fascinating places we wouldn't have otherwise visited! There is a LOT of content for the price and we found that it took us one whole day just to go from Beaumaris up the right coast, so probably about a sixth of the available content. With good planing you could use this to easily keep a family amused and active for a week in all weathers. Highly recommended from all of us!!

Really good way to see the island, it took you to places you probably wouldn’t have visited otherwise. All worked perfectly. We will use it again in another area.

Enjoyed a great week in Anglesey, and certainly got the most out of our Scavenger Hunt App, using it to inspire our day trip route everyday we went exploring for things to do. Great fun discovering places we would not have found otherwise.

We live in Anglesey and fancied seeing some new areas and thought we’d combine this with a treasure hunt. We were disappointed that none of the questions are about the places or sites you’re prompted to visit. You don’t have to read a historic plaque or dates off a statue etc as you might expect. The questions are all generic general knowledge about the UK or seem to have been AI generated about facts on Anglesey e.g. Who built the Menai Bridge? was a question we got in Cemaes. Also some of the sites e.g. standing stones aren’t accessible- you can’t drive close enough or there is no footpath by them. Overall we enjoyed the drive round on a sunny day but we could have done that ourselves. A bit pricey for the experience as a result and I don’t think we’d do another.
