Asheville Travel Guides (Updated September 2026)

In Aug 2021, my family and friends had met in Asheville for a family event. We booked this tour at the last minute and had the best time. The guide had excellent knowledge of the area and local stories, with a great sense of humor.Sept 2026 - my daughter and I were on a bit of a road trip including Asheville and decided to take the tour again. We had the same tour guide (we have pictures to prove it :) ). He was just as fun, if not more so. 5 stars!!

We had a very informative and pleasant walk with Marilyn throughout downtown Asheville. She has lived there almost 50 years and has personal insight into the history of the area. The walk was pleasant, her stories were engaging, and we got a great overview and appreciation of the history of Asheville. I would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time. From the welcome to the goodbye, the LaZoom staff was friendly, enthusiastic, and very entertaining. We had a great time.

We had a great morning with Jamal! What a wonderful guide. He was patient and kind helping people figure out the e-bikes for the first time. He was full of great insights about Asheville. We loved all of the spots. What a gem of a town.

We enjoyed about an hour and a half tour of Asheville with our driver Tom. He shared lots of interesting and fascinating history and tid bits about Asheville.It was surprising to see how portions of Asheville are still recovering from Hurricane Helene about 2 years afterward.Excellent introduction to Asheville to help plan your stay.

Our guide / host for the morning, Joe, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and offered an insight to many things, that might get overlooked on a self guided tour. Highly recommend.

Mark was a phenomenal guide, so knowledgable about brewing, beer, Asheville - everything. Gave great behind the seasons info on how things work, and a wonderful amount of background on the history of beer. Great time AND great beer to taste too!

Nick was the guide. He is knowledgable, patient, and comfortable working with the public. A great assesst for the company. The views are fantastic and Nick taught a great deal about the area and the formation of the mountains.

You will have a ton of fun and fall in love with Asheville NC!!

Wear long pants if there is any doubt. Preferably something that wicks water and not jeans as you may get wet from the waterfalls. Tony was great. He took a lot of pictures for us.
